"Are you going to marry Kyle Kinston?" Edward Quinn seemed a bit dazed. The person in front of him was likely Clover's daughter, which meant... she could very well be his child too.
If, in the past, he cared about his niece's marriage solely from the perspective of an uncle, now he looked at the issue with a father's mindset, which was certainly more complex.
"Yes." Mabel Quinn nodded slightly.
"But isn't it too quick? You've only known him for a year, right? Do you really understand his character? You're still young, just 23 this year. Even if you plan to marry, there's no rush. You can wait for two more years, spend more time with him, and then decide whether you want to marry him..." Edward Quinn said, his speech even a bit hurried.
"Although we haven't known each other for long, I think no man in this world loves me more than he does." Mabel said softly, though she couldn't persuade him regarding Alice's matter this time, she's very aware of how much he loves her.
