And those few high school classmates quickly expressed that they were all deceived by Lyra Grant. Someone even said, "Back then, I thought it was strange, as we never heard Lyra discussing any novels, yet suddenly there was a novel published!"
The editor who worked with Lyra at the time recalled that she brought him a handwritten manuscript. He read it and found it quite impressive, so he decided to publish it. But before publication, Lyra said she wanted to make some slight modifications, so she deleted some plots and changed the names of several protagonists in the novel.
"Where is the manuscript?" Daniel Harris asked.
"After we entered the novel into our computer, we returned the manuscript to Miss Grant," the editor said.
