So, she had to use her left wrist to take out her phone from her pocket. The caller ID clearly showed that the call was from Kyle Kinston.
"Kyle," she said, and beside her, Daniel Harris, upon hearing her voice, unconsciously tightened his grip on her wrist with his five fingers.
Mabel Quinn almost instinctively let out a startled cry.
"What's wrong?" Kyle Kinston's voice came through.
"N-nothing," she quickly replied.
But the next moment, Daniel Harris suddenly pulled her forcefully into his arms, the sudden force causing Mabel Quinn to almost stumble into his embrace.
"Mabel Quinn, aren't you going to tell Mr. Kinston that you specifically came to visit me today?" Daniel Harris said. When she called out Kyle Kinston's name, a strange irritation surged in his chest.
