"You aren't jealous about this too, are you?" she said.
"Yes, I am jealous." He said without any disguise. He loved her, so he didn't like her thinking about other men; people from the Kinston Family always demanded absolute loyalty in this regard.
She sighed helplessly, "I was just wondering if he's the same little brother I knew before, not thinking about anything else."
"Even so, it's not allowed," he replied.
"You're being too overbearing," she rolled her eyes and muttered.
"You're right, I'm exactly like that," he said, reaching out to pull her entirely into his arms.
Enveloped by his presence, Mabel Quinn suddenly felt her face burning. Without a mirror, she knew she must be blushing fiercely at this moment.
"What are you doing? Let me go first," she shifted uncomfortably. Even with her head down, she could feel his gaze fixed on her.
But he placed one hand on her shoulder, his dark eyes staring at her, "Don't you like me holding you?"
