Mabel Quinn was just thinking when she saw Kyle Kinston open a box. Inside was a delicate pink diamond-studded chain, very unique.
"Do you like it?" Kyle asked.
"It's beautiful." Mabel nodded, saying that this kind of chain gives off a refined little princess vibe. "It feels very princess-like, but if it's a bracelet, it seems a bit long..."
"It's an ankle bracelet," he said. "When I saw this chain, I thought it suited you very well. To me, you are my princess."
Her face turned even redder.
He took the ankle bracelet, crouched down in front of her, almost in a kneeling position, opened the clasp, and gently wrapped the delicate chain around her fair ankle, carefully adjusting the width.
Mabel looked down at the man before her, and from her current angle, she could only see the top of his head, his half-lowered eyelashes, his straight nose, and a bit of his chin.
