This seems to imply that this woman knows Secretary Caleb, so it's very likely that she actually knows Mr. Kinston as well?

"I'm not sure," the person said. "Secretary Caleb just instructed to let you wait here, without mentioning the time."
Mabel was speechless, not expecting that sending a text to Caleb would result in this. She took a half-day leave today, but she still has to return to the Corporation in the afternoon.
Mabel looked at the time and thought she might as well head back. But as soon as she turned around, she was stopped, "Well... Secretary Caleb instructed that you can't leave for now either."
