Evander Lancaster returned to the apartment just after ten o'clock; Juliana Lancaster, with her routine schedule, had already gone back to her room to rest.
Sophia Hamilton had just lain down on the bed.
Evander took a quick shower before lifting the quilt and getting into bed, "Honey, why aren't you asleep yet? Waiting for me?"
"Stop flattering yourself, I was just watching TV with Mom."
"Oh, how disappointing," Evander sighed with mock sadness, placing his hand over Sophia's belly.
"Son, were you waiting for Daddy? You can't sleep until Daddy comes home, right?"
"Stop it, I'm sleepy." Sophia impatiently brushed his hand away, fidgeted with the pillow to find a comfortable position, and mumbled with her eyes closed.
"Come clean, did you look for any women when you met up with your brother and the others today?"
Evander chuckled, "You know what, I actually did find someone."
Hearing his tone, not sounding like a joke, Sophia immediately opened her eyes and pinched his neck.
