"Nicholas! I'm telling you, we have to send that lunatic away today!" Julia Zabinski shouted as soon as she walked into the bedroom, taking Nicholas Croft by surprise, causing him to visibly flinch.
Instinctively, he covered Sophie Foster's ears and turned to his mother, saying helplessly, "Mom, could you please lower your voice? She just fell asleep; don't wake her up."
"Wake her up? I'd love to wake her up!" Julia raised her voice even more, "You're still protecting a lunatic like this. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes today, I wouldn't have known this is how you treat Hannah!"
Nicholas was helpless, truly unsure what kind of poison Hannah Hargrave had poured into his mother's ears. As he was about to say something, Sophie Foster suddenly awoke with a jolt, and after a moment of confusion, she shook off Nicholas Croft's hands and sat up, staring coldly at Julia.
"Uncle, let's go back to our own home. I don't want to see these irrelevant people!"
