Nicholas Croft was gradually getting used to Sophie Foster's sudden outbursts of anger, and said calmly, "Miss, have a seat and eat when you're done. You can clean up afterward."
Little May also noticed Sophie Foster acting unusual and saw her staring daggers at herself, so she cautiously said, "I'll go get the bowls and chopsticks."
"Baby, let's eat."
Nicholas Croft called out softly, and Sophie Foster finally looked away from Little May's retreating figure, glanced at Nicholas Croft, picked up the bowls and chopsticks, and buried her head in her food.
After dinner, Sophie Foster went back to the bedroom, lay on the bed with her hands under her head, and left the curtains open to the night outside.
Nicholas Croft leaned against the bed working on his laptop. Before returning home, he had called a few friends without specifying the exact time, planning to gather with them after a couple of days of rest.
