Joseph Lancaster slightly pulled at the corner of his mouth, just about to speak, when his sister Aurora Lancaster spoke first. She looked disapprovingly at Evander Lancaster and said, "You kid, you hardly come back, and when you do, you argue with your uncle."
"Auntie, when did I?" Evander Lancaster looked aggrieved, "Uncle is the hero of our family. If it weren't for him, mother and us three would probably have been sleeping on the streets by now. He took such good care of us, I can't even thank him enough, how could I argue with Uncle?"
"At least you have a conscience!" Aurora Lancaster feigned anger and scolded.
