Oliver Shaw chastised displeased, as Melody Zachary was about to retort, her son put his arm around her shoulders, gave her a gentle pat, and said, "Mom, Mia will be here soon, you don't want our future daughter-in-law to think it's a joke, do you?"
Felix Shaw didn't think his mother's behavior was wise; by doing this, she was only pushing his father further away. Even though he had already decided to drive that mother and daughter away, if his father grew cold towards his mother, he would still seek other women even after getting rid of them.
