"Assistant Carrie, you really seem to have a leisurely time as an assistant, first coming in late, and then going shopping during work hours!" As soon as Titus Zane stepped out of the elevator, Secretary Liu, who was seated at the secretary desk, stood up and greeted her with a sarcastic tone.
With her mind preoccupied, Titus Zane didn't bother to engage and merely glanced at her indifferently as she walked toward her office. Just as she grasped the office door handle, Secretary Liu spoke again, this time sounding somewhat gleeful.
"The president wants you to see him!"
"Understood." She responded indifferently and headed towards Wesley Foley's office.
"Director Foley, you wanted to see me?"
Compared to Titus Zane's serious demeanor, Wesley appeared more casual, with a light smile curling at the corners of his lips.
"Nothing much, I've heard from Secretary Liu that you stepped out, is there trouble at home, do you need my help?"
