Jon did not expect the old lady to be so vigilant. He quickly smiled and said, "Ma'am, no offense, but I'm an international student studying here. I met his daughter at school, and then Uncle Zane disapproved because I'm a foreigner, so…" At this point, Jon hesitated, but when it came to making up stories, he didn't miss a beat.
