When Chris woke up, he was on the floor and an old man with kind smile had his hand on his chest. The old man's eyes were closed but it seem he could see perfectly fine. Chris knew who this old man was and he was his role model.
"Bishop Mayers, it's an honour to meet you again Sir." said Chris with deep reference and fanatism.
"Oh child, it is my honour to meet you. Your faith on the Lord didn't go unnoticed. You're a Light Bringer and a very important asset to the Holy Church. Hence you shall be leaving this place with me to return to the Dome. Even the Pope wants to meet with you, your light was just too resplendent not to be noticed." said Bishop Mayers.
Christopher was so elated that he was completely out of words. He'd just met his role model and was now told that he was going to meet the Pope whom he was fanatic about. For him, this was truly a dream come true.
