Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 (edited)

The middle class nursing ward

Despite the distinction of low class and elite class warriors being the most apparent, Saiyans are actually distributed into three classes. Most are born into the low class and with a rare few being in the elite class. Royalty and high ranking officials tend to sire the latter class. When low class warriors gain strength, most importantly merit, they gain access to the proper facilities.

Take Bardock for example, born a low class warrior who grew to untold heights, his sons Kakarot and Raditz were placed in new top of the line nursing pods. The old and outdated, or extra pods were left to the children born of Saiyans who procreate before even gaining strength or merits.

With that being said, procreation is disallowed for rejects.

The alien DaiDai is the head of the middle to lower, but under him are several tens of doctors ordered to keep watch over the Saiyan newborns. Before the Cold empire pulled them into the fold, they had taken care of their own, but with the advent of new technologies and contracted workers the race of warriors moved to solely be weapons of war. Sure they choose which warriors take up which mission, but they have a much heavier burden to carry now that the majority of them go to distant planets.

One alien under the cold empire's contract, now run by Freiza, constantly surveyed the changes in the people of the Saiyan race. An unassuming lizard type alien, aside from the bags under his eyes, would transmit data back to the lord intelligence division.

Even though a strong prince had been born, one that surpassed his father, this was entirely expected. The child of the right hand man being of high potential, even that could written off, even more than that the child was sent away. Out of sight out of mind. Furthermore, Kappa and his squadron of fanatics that are so obsessed with the ability to conjure flames, this is where things started to worry the lizard spy.

It was only a few years or so ago that they came out into the light. That is why it was even more concerning, suddenly a whole faction of Saiyans popped up out of nowhere. The lizard alien expected this to be seen as an insurrection, but the king of the Saiyans, but that man let Kappa do as he pleased. Even letting his wife remain alive in spite of her condition.

Kappa was a notable warrior with many planets under his belt. Tons of races subjugated, stories told of his burning crusade.

This spy held his tongue for the longest time. Until Kappa had a daughter. You see, his faction could conjure flames, but what made them fanatical was the fact that they claim that energy has nothing to do with it. It would make someone who is proficient in energy laugh if they heard this. Kappa was the only one of his faction to produce proper results with flame conjuration. His faction followed his example, always faltering along the way. None hold the merit that kappa has.

Now that outlier has a daughter and what's worse–the King of the Saiyans, known for his intolerance, is working with him. Allowing his daughter to stay on the planet to train.

The lizard known as Banana, was making his rounds when a certain nursing pod caught his attention again. The child's vitals spiked, well within a healthy range, however it was his power level that shot up to an absurd degree only to fall once again.

Banana broke into a cold sweat as he blinked. Seeing the power level recede.

"I'm not imagining this.." he panics in his mind. The amount of times he had walked past this pod and saw oddities in the data it produced freaked him out.

"The boy's father may be exceptional, but his first born wasn't special. This has to be it. The next generation is going to be a problem... I'll miss report this to the Saiyans and..inform Freiza of his suspicions at once"

With his inner monologue complete, Banana went to work recording the data into his Lord's database under restricted access. After that was finished he tuned the pods readings so that they would be less sensitive, in turn ignoring future spikes and vital changes. If something went wrong he would have to take this downfall, but his loyalty was well Worth this risk.

In the end he had a blistering hatred for the Saiyans that left him very much willing to risk his life in order to secure their downfall.

In the latest hour, so late it might as well just be the morning, a toddler was illuminated by sparks emitting from her fingertips. A saiyan child with their distinct black hair and eyes, a spiky mane of hair that would make a porcupine envious.

"Hnnn" she groaned, placing great effort in sparks that flew off mere centimeters away from her skin. As the heat built, it hurt, but she persisted in unleashing the flame. A skill her father insisted that she learned.

This girl was the daughter of the flame squadron's leader Kappa. Zukki, his first and only child now controversially living in the reject base. One of the only children to not be raised in a nursing capsule.

As she practiced this ancient art the sparks would burst into flames that covered her hand. A faux aura, a searing heat that used to cook her limbs in the past. Diligent training has given way to the bare minimum of producing a force underneath the flames to keep them from burning the skin immediately.

Lifting her hand into the air, all of her fingers together and straight like a spear. In an arc she sliced the air with a flaming chop...

***

An intense flame arced through the body of a pink pig-like alien. Bisected cleanly in half from the head down. The bloody mess averted by the heat of the flame searing both sides completely. His hand had been engulfed in fire.

The man who did it, a stoned faced bald man in a robe that covered his unmistakable armor. He looked down at the alien he had murdered with a glint of pity in his eyes. His hand that cut through the alien's body was no longer wrapped in flames.

With one last look and a deep breath he turned from his hill to the other members of his squad. Notably each of them were struggling to finish the various battles they were engaged in.

"Men!" His voice carried across the battlefield, booming past the rebellious roars of this distant planet's inhabitants. "The battle ends here, swiftly return these souls to the afterlife, so that when they return it will be under better circumstances!"

Kappa had led his flame squadron to war once again and the battle was reaching its climax. Watching over his men they erupted in flames to fulfill their leader's wishes. Five spectacular flames filled the battlefield in response to Kappa's will.

"You're done, I'll be going for that arrogant leader's head next" the pig faced alien with bulging muscles declared.

His assault on the flame squadron's Karada was rather successful. The bald man with not a single hair on his body including his tail, wearing what looked like a brown robe to cover the Saiyan armor, started to laugh.

"What is so funny, you're dead.." he reminded the Saiyan while only glancing at his knelt position on the ground.

"No, you are" Karada confidently announces while his whole body erupts in a hot flame. He, like his fellow squad members, had been holding back to strengthen their bodies, their physical skills, but that was heading nowhere quickly.

The pig-faced alien was shocked for a brief moment, fully believing the Saiyan to have killed himself only to be tackled into oblivion. The fire shaped body rushed forth and collided with him. Before he knew it the flames engulfed him and he was burnt to a crisp.

At another corner of the battlefield a circular ring of fire rushed down another rather strong pig faced alien. It was blocked, though improperly leading to parts of the pig-faced alien to be charred black. It was still living so his assailant who had been struggling moments ago approached apologetically.

Ringu, another member of the squad created a blob of fire to finish the job before dropping it on the alien. "I applaud your life, i hope you return when the flame is stronger" he spoke with a genuine recognition of the pig faced aliens life and now death.

At another corner of the battlefield a bright light emitted from the fingers of one more flame squadron member. Hikari energetically knocked the blind pig faced alien out as it flailed it's arms around. With a chop to the neck it fell to the ground.

"Sorry, not sorry, i told you i was bright like the sun. Tehe" the energetic female Saiyan had her tail wiggling, acting playful as she was about to murder one of the last of this planets inhabitants.

Leaping up and crashing her kneel into the back of the aliens neck to finish the job. This was almost like a mercy as it was the most painless way to end the fight as she could.

Finally the last member of the squad was chasing down the last pig faced alien. It had leaped into the air. At the high arc of his bound a flickering existence appeared before it, a kick sending it crashing down the ground.

Jetto was a female with long legs currently upside down in the air where the alien was. Her legs outstretched in the position post kick. Flipping around briefly she twisted her body so that her legs were pointed up. Flames erupted from her boots causing them to burn up as she ended the aliens in a flying kick that crashed into its back. A wave of heat and air expanded in the wake of this attack.

As she stood up her boots were now gone, a sigh escaped her lips. "Another pair down the drain.." she complains before using flames to jet up in the air. Surveying the battlefield and noting that the battles had ended before returning to the ground in a slow blazing descent.

Kappa witnessed his squad members blazing across the battlefield feeling as though their dreams could come true soon enough. His stoic face hid the boiling emotions from reaching the surface.

"..." Before any words could exit his lips a rumbling shooked the ground below his feet.

All five pairs of eyes watched as the pig-like alien corpses rose into the air. Whatever remained of the charred corpses of the elites, and across the world as the warriors who fell long ago began to pile into one spot in the sky. A grotesque form of pink corpses came together in this skyscraper sized body appearing to look much like the individual aliens from moments ago.

As it's form solidifies the only survivor of this war emerges with his hand raised above as if laying claim to this abomination.into a now uncontrollable mindless monster. It stood on all fours leaving any humanity it once had in its individual pieces behind.

"Magic.." Kappa simply muttered to himself. Simultaneously he was thinking about how to end this, believing that ending the mages life might cause more destruction than this mission allowed.

Though of course he was not the only member of his squadron to notice this appearance of a final enemy. Unlike Kappa who lead with cold precision and critical thinking, his members did not think along the same wavelink as him

"Got it!" Jetto claimed responsibility. The fires bursting from the balls of the feet propelled her at such high speeds that she was at her target before anyone could warn off the rash action.

The mage was weak in terms of physicality and died the moment Jetto's foot reached his head. She defeated him believing this to be the correct decision and even doing so with swift action like her leader always desires.

It was too bad that this was a horrible decision as the towering amalgamation of the pig faced alien races warriors were turned.

Its first action was to attack the man standing atop the hill in plain sight. It's gargantuan arm cut by a swift flaming arc created by Kappa's upward chop. He had to defend himself rather than end the fight at once. Regardless of if this monster had any real consciousness, it's strength was no laughing matter. Each movement made the ground beneath them shake.

As Kappa intended to go for his finishing move, the arm had begun to reconnect back to the main body. It's other arm already flying straight for him in a follow up attack. The leader of the flame squadron understood right away that this monster would not go down by small or cautious attacks.

After falling back, dodging each successive attack that slammed into the ground destroying the terrain as it went, Kappa decided his course of action.

"Karada!" He commanded, no specific order given.

In the next instance the flaming form of a man came crashing into the side of the towering monster. A fiery shoulder tackle sent the amalgamation of pink corpses stumbling to the side. It lacked pain receptors so this only delayed its action.

That was enough time for Kappa to reposition himself several hundred feet back. His resolve firm and stance rooted to the ground, heat rising upwards on his body, visually through the steam subtly emitting off his body. His breath was still, inhalation slow and deliberate. Finally as he exhaled a deep breath the heat traveled to his outstretched hand, fingers pointed towards the head of this disgusted creation of magic.

"Flame spear"

In a brief flash of light the heat gathered in his right arm shot forth as a continuous line of blazing destruction. It tore through an arm sized hole through its head momentarily halting all its movements. The concentrated jet of fire held there, keeping the monster at Bay.

Putting his left hand onto his bicep Kappa held the spear of fire, continuously stopping the monster from completing its regeneration. Sweat beads poured down his forehead from the sheer heat.

"To me my flame squadron!" He commands decisively as they appear at his side. "Let us use that combination. Finish it with one combined attack"

"Sir!" Ringu, Karada, and Hikari respond.

"Sorry boss.." Jetto apologizes for her mistake.

"Just get my back!" He brushed it off to the side as the problem lay ahead. In response she immediately put her back to his.

The monster, a testament to the pig-faced alien's race, was showing resistance even now. Despite its head being impaled and burnt with flames, it was attempting to tear itself away from the spear.

Gripping his arm tightly he pushed his flames to the max.

"Awakened Flame spear"

His fingers parted slightly as the spears' circumference increased drastically. The monster was stuck in its tracks once again. This was not the end, however, as Ringu moved in with his fingers creating a triangle shape, unclosed, on each side of Kappa's arm.

The heat firmly created a ring of fire that blasted off along the spear of fire. At the end it crashed into the monster. The flames beginning to engulf it.

At the same time Karada focused all of his heart towards the palms of his hands while they were outstretched, aimed at the disgusting creation of magic. With all his might, the flames shot out as orb of flames.

Hikari had her hands on both Karada and Kappa's shoulder's transferring all her collected heat across their bodies and towards their flames increasing the destructive output.

Finally, as the force of all their combined efforts came crashing into Kappa, Jetto provided an equal force with the flames bursting from her legs. Really pushing herself to make up for the mistake.

"Rrraaaah!" All together they roared as one unit, the heat taking a toll on their bodies as the explosive full might of the flame squadron blew away this monster created by magic.

The combined flames not only engulfed the monster, but it was blown clear out of existence as all that remained was a burnt indent in the ground for miles Infront of them.

Jetto was the first to fall, then Karada to his knees as his arms were a bright red and terribly close to being cooked. Despite their combined efforts Hikari and Ringu got off the easiest as they were simply exhausted and out of breath while sweating like they had just run a marathon in a tropical jungle.

All of them lost their brown hooded robes at this point, a common occurrence, leaving them to display the Saiyan armor they all lothed.

The ever stoic leader, kappa only exhaled slowly while lowering his arms.

"Excellent job, the mission is complete, let's head home" he declared before looking at the results of their attack one last time.

Turning on his heel he pulled out a device before pressing a button. His pod responded and flew to their position. The rest of them would follow suit moments later.

"Mission complete" Kappa would say while pressing the button on his scouter.

You wouldn't be able to tell on his face, but he was in a rush. Kappa was concerned about his daughter's progress. She was the final piece of their ritual.

To birth the second Saiyan God.
