Chapter 31 - Chapter 31 pt 2/2

That's right!

I'm back!

I'll be honest, the next couple chapters might feel off or different since I haven't written this story in like almost a literal half a year, and the stories I've been writing are all in third person, so please be patient with any mistakes. I reread the book a couple times to try and refamiliarize myself with it. So let's see how it goes.

Thanks, hope you enjoy the rest of the battle.

"Lapras start off easy, [Mist] into [Rain Dance]." I ordered at the beginning and Lapras quickly brought into a foggy mist as he disappeared into it as rain started, inside the closed off glass gym.

Hope those plants are thirsty.

"[Sludge Wave]." Erika's calm voice spoke out in the mist that was tainted purple with poison.

"[Ice Beam] to shield yourself, and then [Body Slam] to send the chunks flying once it's past you." I responded back, unfortunately I heard no call of pain, so Lapras wasn't hurt, but nether was Victreebel.

"[Razor Leaf] into [Sunny Day]. Once you find them, fire your [Hyper Beam]!" Erika ordered and I waited patiently.

"[Sing]." I said simply. I wish we knew [Perish Song], the amount of trolling that could be done with that move would be awesome. Pretending it was a do all move, but instead it's just a song, would force them to switch out or play their full hand.

"Shit." I smiled as the room got brighter, the misty area slowing moving out with the sunlight.

"Fire!" She yelled and I grinned, time to test something.

"Lapras, reflect it!"

Through the now almost fully gone mist I could see Lapras forming a shape out of ice, more specifically a double sided round slope.

"It's working!" Lapras said happily, but I went wide eye as I saw it, not the [Solar Beam] being reflected, but rather the [Leaf Storm] slamming into Lapras' side.

"Fuck!" Lapras and I both cursed as the attack landed to the side and sent Lapras flying back into the wall, and I knew he was unconscious before the dust cloud even finished clearing.

"Return." I said softly as the red beam left the pokeball and sucked Lapras up. "You did well for having a disadvantage. Don't worry, when we battle Viridian, you'll dominate the field." I whispered softly to the ball which shook before going motionless.

"He did well for a water pokemon limited in mobility against grass types." Erika said and I shook my head before grabbing my next pokeball.

"I would like for my next pokemon to be excluded from the recording." I said as Erika paused before nodding her head as she took out a phone and tapped something before putting it away. She gave me a thumbs up.

"Koraidon, let your primal might shine." I called out as my dragoness came out with a roar that threatened to shatter all the glass windows of the gym.

"[Flamethrower]." I ordered and immediately a burning hot burst of flames was fired out her mouth, I led the bond between us slightly sync so we could both see out each others eyes.

It greatly helped as a round of [Power Whips] came out of nowhere, but Koraidon hopped into the air and avoided the attack before unleashing a [Fire Spin] at Victreebel who had dodged the first attack by [Sludge Wave] as a wall.

Quite ingenious actually. The vapors floating in the air as a poison gas was quite a good idea, however we'll be fine, because we planned ahead.

"Opperation BDBH." I called out as immediately she used [Body Slam] to fling herself from the air towards the ground and used [Dig] to escape the vapors.

Now the full plan consisted of four things.

[Body Slam], B, to throw herself to the ground, [Dig], D, to escape any attacks or status effects, [Bulk Up], B, to increase attack power, and finally [Heat Crash], H, to do explosive damage, and as such BDBH.

[Heat Crash] does explosive damage if you have weight advantage, 2 to 5x weight advantage increase damage by a lot. Victreebl weighs roughly around a mid 30 pounds, meanwhile Koraidon has a whopping 600 plus pound weight, so in game terms, a whopping 120 base damage, combined with [Bulk Up], a painful reminder of raw power.

"Point challenger!" The referee called out and I smiled as Koraidon came to stand besides me.

"Return." I said as Koraidon huffed softly as she was recalled back, switching out I tossed out my next Pokemon the same time as Erika.

"Shine the light, Bellossom!"

"Sylveon, start crying." I called out as she immediately came out putting on some epic water works using [Fake Tears], a move that lowers special attack by two stages. As a Pokemon that does primarily special attack only, it's a strong starting move.

"[Grassy Quiver]." She ordered in return and I sighed, there goes half the stat changes for attack and even increased speed more. Good thing it was slow already. Though with Sylveon not being a faster Pokemon, I'll be relying on speed based moves to attack and dodge now.

"Start strong, [Quick Kick]!" I decided as Sylveon glowed in a pink light before she shot forward with her feet glowing red before they planted themselves towards Bellossom's face.

"[Protect]." A simple order and annoying order. Also confirmed something for me.

"So sixth badge and up I have to worry about TM moves too huh? Annoying." I sighed as Erika merely smiled widely at me, she truly did mean that sixth badge and ahead would be difficult. She's gonna make me work for that win.

"[Shadow Ball]!" I ordered as Sylveon fired a point blank attack which did land.

"[Synthesis]." She countered and with the remaining sun light from Koraidon's Orichalcum Pulse and the starting [Sunny Day] by Bellossom, it was almost instant how quick the grass type started healing.

"[Swift]." I wanted to test something so I went with a casual move. I'm regretting now staying up late to watch battles of Erika, wouldn't have to test this mid battle.

"[Protect]."

"[Quick Attack] into [Double Edge]!" I swiftly ordered as we immediately took advantage of the time before the defensive move could be used again.

"[Solar Beam]!" My eyes went wide before I was yelling out to dodge, but it was too late as the sun light beam smashed into Sylveon. The aura of her attack should negete some of the attack-

"Bell!" A pained cry was heard as I heard Sylveon's triumphant voice.

"Take that you stupid flower! Compared to a dragon, you aren't nothing!" She gloated as she launched herself back with a large hop into the air and used her ribbons to push herself towards me.

"That was well done. She's pretty powerful." Erika complemented and I smiled.

"She is isn't she. She worked very hard to get powerful, so let us show you our power. [Dissarming Voice]." I retorted knowing the battle wasn't over quite yet.

"Then we shall show you ours. [Sludge Bomb]."

"[Subsitute]." I countered as I knew that attack would hit hard if it landed. "Follow it up with a [Sand Attack]." I added on.

"[Solar Beam]!"

"Not this time! [Protect]!" I smugly countered as the beam harmlessly splashed into the shield before Sylveon took the initiative and opened her mouth, I expected either a [Alluring Voice] or [Disarming Voice], instead she fired off a [Hyper Beam] of all things.

"[E-"was all I heard before the explosion occurred.

When the smoke was cleared, barely hanging on some last embers, yes I'm aware the irony, was Bellossom. So that last move must have been [Endure] then, since no way she'd survive such a hit.

"Sylveon, how are you feeling?" I asked as I kept my eyes on Bellossom and Erika, the moment I saw those lips twitch, I'd attack again, hopefully, if not, shield time.

"Kinda tired, but I can keep going." She responded and I smiled. That's good, most pokemon unless dragons or Gyrados, learning [Hyper Beam] usually takes all their energy since they instinctively use all their energy to fire it.

"Good, now since both our pokemon are tired, one final move?" I asked and Erika pondered before shaking her head.

"No, I surrender Bellossom. No need to push her more." Erika responded as she returned her Pokemon.

"Winner! Raven Inanis!" The referee called out as he waved the flag towards me.

"You did well, most trainers need to try the sixth badge once more. I'm impressed that your Sylveon could keep on going after firing a [Hyper Beam] without any training." Erika said impressed.

"Thank you, we're gonna have to work hard to practice such a move." I responded and she nodded as she reached into her pocket and pulled out the gym badge. Grass badge, acquired.

"Glad to hear, if you're interested, let me know." She winked as she handed me a card with her phone number and I mentally debated on if I should or not, but decided that no, ima woo Cynthia! So sleeping around won't help with that.

"I'll consider it." I responded calmly with a suggestive smile, because it's still fun to flirt.

She didn't respond, but a blush softly appeared on her face in response. With that done I headed to the Pokemon center to have Nurse Joy take a look at my Pokemon.

•~~~~~•~~~~~•~~~~~•

Haaaaaa it's been a while, but we're finally back damnit! Anyways I hope you enjoyed the final half of the battle, I thought it was nice, it took a minute to get back into the mindset for this battle since I try to imagine the battles in my head for enhancing the story.

Until next time!

Bye~
