Two Days Later – Saturday Evening
Lu Sheng invited both Zhou Qi and Chen Xiao to a quiet lounge café near the riverside. He didn't tell either of them the other was coming.
Zhou arrived first, looking confused. "What's this about?"
"You'll see," Lu Sheng said calmly.
Then Chen Xiao walked in.
Tension crackled like electricity.
Zhou Qi's jaw tightened. Chen Xiao's eyes narrowed.
"I didn't know he'd be here," they both said at the same time.
Lu Sheng didn't flinch. "Sit. Both of you."
They sat—reluctantly, but curiosity outweighing pride.
Lu Sheng took a deep breath, then pulled out his phone and placed it on the table. The WeChat screen was open, showing a chat with Jiayi under the name Mr.Gray.
"I created a fake account," he said. "And Jiayi took the bait."
Both men leaned in.
Zhou frowned. "Wait… what?"
Lu Sheng didn't respond. Instead, he slowly scrolled through the messages. Flirty texts. Shameless admissions. Screenshots of Jiayi sending selfies. Voice notes giggling about "men being so easy to handle."
And then—
> "Which one?"
The message hung there like a gunshot.
Chen Xiao looked stunned. Zhou Qi looked sick.
"She admitted to having multiple boyfriends," Lu Sheng said, voice steady but cold. "Including you, Zhou."
Zhou slumped back, eyes wide. "No… no way. She said she wasn't seeing anyone else…"
Chen Xiao still hadn't spoken. His fingers trembled.
"She made both of you believe you were the only one," Lu Sheng said, looking directly at Chen. "And then turned you against me."
Silence.
"You hit me, Chen. Because of her lies. And Zhou… you looked me in the eye and told me she loved you."
Lu Sheng stood up, picking up his phone. "Now you both know. Do whatever you want with that."
