While Peter and the others were having their time inside their new house, just some distance away, several figures appeared silently on a nearby rooftop.

"So this is where you are, my Rias~" a man with light golden hair and glowing red eyes said while looking toward Peter's new house. He was none other than Bilnard.

According to many, if one were to ask who was the strongest among the children of the five Vampire Counts, most would definitely say Rias, because she was the daughter of the strongest Vampire Count. But no, she was not the strongest. The one who was truly the strongest—and also the oldest—was the son of the second Vampire Count, the eldest son of Roland Vesper.

He was none other than Bilnard Vesper, the heir of the Vesper Clan, the second strongest clan after the Grimore Clan.

Throughout his long lifetime, Bilnard had come across many women, with whom he had done countless deeds, but none of those women were the wife material he truly desired. He wanted someone strong, someone worthy, someone equal to him. And that was when he met Rias, a rising young vampire among the royal bloodlines. She was stronger than anyone of her age, a true prodigy.

He had even proposed marriage to Rias, but the latter had refused him bluntly. If it had been anyone else, they would have raged and thrown tantrums, but for Bilnard, her rejection only made him even more attracted to her. If he truly wanted, he could have proposed the marriage through his father directly to the head of the Grimore Clan, but his ego would not allow such a thing.

He wanted to claim this hot-headed beauty without anyone's help.

When Bilnard received information from his butler that Rias was pursuing a human man, his anger went beyond limits. It dealt a massive blow to his pride. Rias had chosen a human scum over him—over an adult vampire, the strongest among all the children of the Vampire Counts.

"Bil, surround the house," Bilnard ordered coldly.

Bil, his loyal servant, nodded with a deep bow and stood straight. "As you wish, my master." When Bil had been discovered by Rias in the past, he had been terrified of her, not only because she was stronger than him, but also because her status was far superior. After all, the latter was the daughter of the devil of the vampire world.

Even in their world, no one would dare raise a finger against her. If they did, the very next moment they would face the devil herself—the woman feared by all, second only to the Vampire Queen.

"So, Peter, I was saying…" Inside the house, everyone was enjoying the party, and seeing that the mood was right, Rias was about to ask Peter to accompany her to her world. But at that exact moment, she felt a disturbing presence, along with many others, surrounding the house.

Soon, Peter along with Liz, Gwen, and Mary also sensed those presences.

"Peter…" Gwen was the first to react, but she was immediately stopped by Peter's raised hand.

"I know," Peter said as he stood up, his expression turning serious.

"Peter, he is here," Rias informed coldly as she stood beside him. Before Peter could ask who she meant, thick black smoke suddenly appeared in front of them, and from it, a man slowly emerged.

He was wearing a fitted black shirt and black pants, perfectly clinging to his body, with light golden hair cascading down. His hands rested casually in his pockets, confidence radiating from his posture, a cold smirk plastered on his face.

"How are you, my dear?" Bilnard asked in a teasing tone, his eyes locking onto Rias.

Hearing his voice, Rias was not happy in the slightest. "I am not your 'dear'!" she declared, her fangs revealed as she glared directly into Bilnard's eyes with fury.

Hearing her reply, Bilnard's smirk widened even further. "You know, it's because of this temper of yours that I like you," he said confidently. "You are not like other women who bow their heads before me. You are different, and that is why I want you to be mine. But instead, you chose this…" His gaze shifted toward Peter, who stood beside Rias.

"I can see that he is different… not a normal human," Bilnard admitted while scanning Peter as if he were a test subject in a laboratory. "But in the end, he is still inferior to me, far too weak to stand against me." To Bilnard, it did not matter that Peter was a unique human. No matter how many strange abilities he possessed, in front of an adult vampire like him, Peter was nothing more than an ant before an elephant.

Bilnard then turned his attention back to Rias. "I will give you a choice now," he said as he raised his hand slightly. "If you come with me and become mine, I will spare their lives. But if you refuse my offer…" His smile turned cruel. "Death will be what awaits them."

While this exchange took place between Rias and Bilnard, Mary, Liz, and Gwen moved to the back, forming a protective circle around Gale, Madeline, and May. They knew the enemy was powerful, and their top priority was protecting Gale, Madeline, and especially May—who was carrying Peter's child.

Before Rias could respond, everyone present in the room heard loud laughter.

"Hahaha!" It was Peter, laughing openly, causing Bilnard to raise an eyebrow in both confusion and amusement. "Listen, bitch, I've already tasted her juicy lips, so I don't think I can allow you to take her," Peter said with a wide, fearless grin.

Hearing Peter's words, everyone present was utterly shocked.

'Fuck! I fell for a crazy bastard!' was the only thought that appeared in Rias's mind.
