The Sovereign Eternal Time listened without interrupting.
He understood their reasoning because he shared it. Power was the only thing that mattered in the end.
The Prime Universe had given them birth, but birth did not create an obligation to die alongside it.
"The Eternals have already promised us resources after the war," the Time Sovereign said. "If the Prime Universe falls, they will control everything that remains. As long as we prove our usefulness, our positions will be secure."
The Sovereign Annihilating Lightning nodded. "Then there is even less reason to worry about Billion Ironhart."
"Not yet," the Time Sovereign replied.
His tone changed slightly. The other two immediately noticed.
"You think the Eternals will order us to kill him?"
"I think they will."
