My jaw drops as I take in the sight before me.

The blue razor-sharp scales, the menacing look in her shark golden eyes, the deathly fangs, and sharper-than-knife teeth. I am pretty sure everyone would choose to jump off a thousand-meter-high cliff rather than getting crushed by her teeth or fangs, including me.
"Well, meet my familiar." Kian introduces it matter-of-factly as though having a dragon to be your pet is the most normal thing in the world. "She is Zenyth."
Zenyth's vicious eyes narrow, peering down at me as she stands there, her mighty wings folded by her side, looking equally majestic and menacing.
