I opened my eyes, as if just blinked. The place where I was standing had already been demolished and a hard red brown rocky surface emerged. This was terrific to me, I don't think I hallucinated when I saw my friends and also when master suddenly disappeared.
The rocky ground then was hearing up, a large earthquake was as if taking place. The ground was yet holding off, only the shaking was what I felt for a while.
The loud noises came from 4 directions and I was at the centre of them. My speed reduced due to the sudden shake, nearby I saw that nothing was visible far off as a sign of a living being.
My throat was sore, I hadn't even brought any water with me. Suddenly it occurred to me that what if, I can just try to find a water source by using my ability.
I used my hunting ability and found a large water body, more like a pond but it was looking sort of messed up.
I thought that I need to purify water, a skill needed for convenience.

The skill was enough to make a cup of water drinkable for me, though I didn't tried water raw so I can't be sure how it would impact me in health perspective.

My breath this time was short, my stamina was half of what I knew and the sound had vanished hours ago.
I was going at an unknown place and a strange direction, I realised that there was no sun to be visible, not moon and stars.
Even analysing time was not possible for me for the time being.
The shaking started again and I started to fall downward over the rocky surface.
I saw someone their, one of the 10 sages.
"The clock has stopped at the hour, we need you to get ready" is what he said while floating upwards.
I reached at top without even realising. The large forest and mountain were black and some amount of green flora was visible to observe. The 10 sages were in the centre of the forest at a bald place in this black forest.
I realised rakshasa had awakened, but why now. The master I knew was standing in the middle, where the growth ability's backlash resided.
He was clearly up to something and that something has to do some sort of connection to me and my growth. But if so, why would he tell me that story. He could have already restraint me and done anything.
I am fine now, my original body is both stronger and durable, yet why give me this chance. I thought of it while the 9 other sages were watching me arrive through levitation. My mind was sane but I am worried about,
Kora and Heathen, and also Sam I think.
I didn't saw them well last time, I wish they are well now and capable to defend themselves from this catastrophe.
I reached the surface and all seemed angry, more than me. I mean logically they just destroyed everything for me and in case if they are worried about the people.
'I feel pain and pity too, I am grieving that they are not fine and may still be stuck in some place, but I won't give myself up for them'
My body and soul are my own, not theirs to judge. I may sound selfish but remember, why would they settle in a place like this. This huge mass of a being, that may be the final catastrophe to once and for all consume them in their own home one day.
