Hunter Masters is a 21 year old otaku living in the New York City, USA. He spends most of his time at his apartment watching anime playing video games and watching anime on Hanime. Hunter and no friends and rarely associates with other human beings.
The day was February 14, Valentine's Day, a day where love and affection is in the air, but Hunter hated Valentine's Day because he never had a girlfriend his entire life. He had decided to spend the rest of the day indoors but , he soon discovered that his food supply was finished,
"Great..... Now I have to go outside and associate with people... Just wonderful. " he sighs as he gives an annoyed look on his face.
He grabs his wallet, phone, headphones and jacket and proceeds to leave his apartment, he waves goodbye to his home and heads to the local 7/11 store. As he walks through the corridor of the apartment complex he notices that his neighbors have decorated their doors with Valentine's Day decorations, this annoys him even more. As he walks past the decoration getting more and more upset, one of his neighbors exits her apartment, a 25 year old woman named Charity Moore.
She is wearing a Cupid costume that displays her figure extremely well, her curves and frame are more defined as her breasts bounce left and right as she approaches him, Hunter is blushing as his never seen her in so little clothing, it's both exthrillerating and nerve racking. She stands before him, smiling warmly.
"Hunter!! Happy Valentine's Day!!!!"
"I hope you haven't forgotten our little agreement now? " she asks, a hint of false innocence in her tone.
"Agreement?... Oh right, I remember, how could I ever forget. Ha ha... " he responds, trying not to look at her breasts.

As she approaches her apartment, she drops a decoration, "oops, dropped one" she bends down to pick it, fully displaying her undergarments to Hunter, she enters and closes the door.
Hunter stands their face red and palms sweaty, his erection evident on his pants as he processes what just happened, "damn that woman will kill me" he says as he tries to clear his mind. After waiting a few minutes for his erection to calm down, he finally exists the apartment complex, the streets are filled with Valentine's Day decorations, the air is filled with the around of baked goods and flowers as well as the occasional chocolate smell. Hunter's mood changes as he is disgusted that people are happy, he ignores all the nonsense and walks to the 7/11 store.
After a few minutes, he arrives at the store, it's covered in Valentine's Day decorations, the shelves are full with cards, flowers, seasonal adult toys you name it. Hunter grabs a basket and grabs everything that he needs, "what a dumb celebration" he says as his annoyance increases.
He proceeds to the check out isle and pays for his groceries, the lady at the counter wishes him a happy Valentine's Day but he scoffs at her and leaves, as he walks backs home, the sounds of love music and couples planning their evenings fill the streets, he decides to put on his headphones to drown out the noise.
He puts them on, increasing the volume to Max and playing his favorite song, but he doesn't notice that a few feet ahead of him, a manhole is without it's cover, he continues walking, Obilivous to what's happening around him.
"What a long day, can't wait for this stupid day to en.... " his cut off as he falls through the manhole, hitting his right arm as he falls through. Everyone watch in horror as his screams slowly fade into the darkness.
