Chapter 2
Title: when stars collide
Ava felt a strong grip on her hand Only to find a furious amelia Amelia Held and pulled Ava with her strength, making kai lose his grip with ava. Then Ava whispered " thank you" as she was pulled away by amelia. Kai got lost in thought " such a beautiful lady" .
Ava kept silent in the car,still angry about the fact that Amelia broke the beautiful moment between her and kai. When kai got home that day, he did all the necessary chores he was expected to do and sat with his mother to watch TV. His mom ocean began to lament about her hate for rich people " They're so selfish, disrespectful, no manners, I hate them". Kai was sad meanwhile he would have been happy and would insult rich people with his mum, but this particular time it gave him a tummy reaction and so he excused himself to his room.
His deep brown eyes started at the ceiling with dispire, he realised that he had developed feelings for Ava, all through out his life, he had hated rich people, but he felt Ava was different, she was just a young girl who wanted to be free, but the pressure was much for her. Upon hearing her story, he was touched and developed a sense of concern for her which led to the butterflies he was feeling.
Two years passed by a flash, Ava was celebrating her 20th birthday and was caught up in a lot of things like clothes, party decorations, food and drinks while juggling her jobs by then Ava had completely forgotten about kai and was with Luca as insisted by her step mother,after effective planning and readiness her party was set and to be celebrated on June 28th in 2012.
Ava walked into the party with a glimmery and spectacular red dress her maroon hair was perfectly styled with her make-up beautifully done, the whole room stopped to stare and Ava felt the most beautiful she had ever felt.
She walked into the room with her heels more beautiful than that of cinderella's and her boyfriend with his blonde hair and perfectly blue eyes with his fitted tuxedo and well knitted tie, he greeted her with a bow and asked for her hand in a dance, they danced slowly across the room with the music flowing through their blood,but Ava felt nothing, no sparks, no butterflies, no fireworks meanwhile luca felt it all and was lost in her beautiful eyes
Ava excused herself to the bathroom but she actually slipped outside for some fresh air just like she did two years ago, she was lost in thought when she felt a pat on her shoulder, the sparks, the fireworks, the butterflies and she knew only one person could make her feel all of it at the same time, she turned surprised " kai?"
