Denis fumed outside the gate when the guards stopped him. "Open the gate right now," he roared, his eyes reddening in unrestrained fury. "Who are you to stop me from meeting my father?"
"We are only following orders," the guard said. "Don't make things worse for us. My companion is talking to the boss. If he gives the permission, we'll let you in."
Denis, unaware of the situation inside, assumed Gabriel had barred him from entering the house. 'Dad, you don't want to let me in,' he thought bitterly. 'You want to cut all ties with me just because of that woman.'
His mother had died, but Gabriel didn't show any remorse. Even though his grandfather was dead, Gabriel didn't bother to come to the hospital and check. The more he thought, the angrier he grew.
"No one can stop me," Denis roared. "Open the gate right now. Or I'll call the cops."
In the meantime, another guard came forward. "The boss allowed him to come inside. Open the gate."
