Gabriel stormed into the Beaumont Group headquarters, shoving aside the guards who tried to block his way.
"Don't you dare stop me," he barked furiously, his voice echoing through the lobby. "I'll sue every one of you. This is my company. Who gave you the guts to forbid me from entering?"
The guards faltered.
For years, they had bowed their heads to Gabriel, treating him as the rightful boss. But with Augustine now in charge, their orders had changed. Even so, they couldn't bring themselves to drag Gabriel out like a trespasser.
Throwing them a venomous glare, Gabriel pushed through the glass doors and strode inside. The guards hurried after him, trying to reason with him.
"Sir, please," one of them pleaded, "don't make this harder for us. We are only carrying out orders."
Gabriel ignored their words and marched toward the private elevator. This time, the guards moved fast, blocking his path.
"You are not authorized to use the elevator," one said firmly. "Please leave."
