Zara swallowed, her gaze fixed tightly to the window.
"Zara…"
"Ace's it's none of your business. So just keep quiet and drive, or else, drop me off here!" Zara snapped at him.
And for a while, he was quiet.
But he didn't quit stealing glances at her through the rearview mirror.
Zara knew that looks too well. It was bothersome and meant to make her confess, but she stood her ground, averting her gaze as much as she could until they eventually arrived in front of her house.
She didn't wait for Ace to park propey before she jumped out, rushing towards the door.
Then her eyes landed on Zavier, forcing her to a halt.
'Oh, why is he already here?'
"Zara, I hope you have a very good reason for avoiding the kids like this…" Ace started to speak as he walked closer to her.
Zara bit her lip, looking sideways.
"Else you are going to regret it." He added.
Zara took a deep breath, "Sure. I know that." She said, turning to face him.
