"Hey! Are you certain this is the right way?" Marylin asked as she followed after Jasper's lanky back through the forest.
She had formed the group with Jasper and Joseph to get easy money, not to trek through the forest for days on end.
'It was supposed to be easy being in this team,' she grumbled to herself. Tricking some clueless idiots out of their inventory had been easy on the lower floors, but as they traveled up the tower, fewer and fewer people were traveling on their own.
Marilyn was starting to see the end of their team. Though Jasper was good at his harmless act and gaining the trust of others through his unsuspecting appearance, there was simply no one to lure.
Over the past week, they hadn't found a single lonely climber. The only people they met were in groups larger than their own.
Marilyn had suggested they went down to the lower floors again, where there were more climbers traveling on their own, but Joseph had been strongly opposed against it.
