As the agreed upon time arrived, Evelynn made her way to the tower. She and Lydia had decided to meet inside the tower resting area after making their own preparations.
Evelynn, excited about tackling the second floor together, was full of energy.
'It's truly a different feeling knowing I'm meeting someone, as compared to when I was alone the first time,' she gently hummed to herself. 'And I won't have to have any awkward encounters like I had with Darius…'
She was much more relaxed this time compared to the first time she had entered the waiting area. Quickly throwing away the embarrassing thoughts of her first experience there and how she had got thrown into the portal, she stepped inside.
Entering the waiting room, Evelynn looked around to see if she could find Lydia.
The waiting area was the same as she remembered, with people sitting in groups on the tribunes, talking in low voices.
