CHAPTER 60
Aurora released a deep breath when they were already far from them. Her chest felt tight like there was a fist clenching her heart, squeezing the life out of her.
They went downstairs and Aurora directly headed to the bar counter. Ade right behind her. She ordered a new set of drinks. She wanted to drown herself in drunkenness to feel numb even just for a moment.
Andri's band started playing again on the stage.
Aurora already had several shots while Ade was silent, just letting her drink. She ate the snacks instead. She didn't drink anymore to assist her signorina later for she might get too drunk to take care of herself.
People gathered at the dancefloor again, while booming cheers and singing along with the party music the band was playing.
