Chapter 5 - Chapter - 5: Learning The Bow

"Really? You'll teach us the bow?!" Feng grinning ear to ear.

"You're both 16. It's time you learn ways of the bow."

"I've never even held a bow before."

"Same here."

"Aight, I want you to observe how i shoot first then replicate what you see. Watch me."

"Alright!"

Fang stood calm and with a relaxed grip clipping the arrow onto the nock point, he put his left shoulder forward. As he raised the bow towards the target pulling on the string in one steady motion, it looked as if he was one with the bow. The string slipped away like letting go of a breath and hit the target.

Feng was awestruck watching such an accurate shot.

"Awesome. That was a brilliant shot dad."

"Let's see how you do it Feng."

Fang handed the bow to Feng and came to the side with me.

Feng drew a arrow from the quiver and tried to replicate Fang, but his stance was terrible and he shot the arrow off center.

"Don't lean back Feng. Stay relaxed and release the string."

"Alright."

Feng drew the arrow again. He was more composed this time. The arrow left the bow and struck really close to the center.

"Agh. That was so close."

"Great job Feng. That was good with more practice and some training from me, you'll be shooting like me in no time."

"I might be far from good but that last shot almost hit the center. Here Ken let's see how you do."

"That's the spirit."

I have seen atheletes shoot in the television before but i am so not made for this. I picked a arrow from the quiver and stepped forward anyway.

I visualized what I had seen in my previous life and tried to incorporate what Fang had just showed us.

I pulled the string with steady motion aligning my sight with the target and let the string slip away.

The strange symbols on my hand appread again with yellowish glow before the arrow left the bow. I felt as if my right eye was burning before the arrow struck the target right at the center with perfect accuracy.

"Ken! What was that? Your hands were glowing." Feng dashed and started asking questions, while I brought the bow down.

"Impossible. That was the B-Class skill - Perfect Aim. But how could Ken do it without even awakening?"

Fang stepped towards me slowly and said, "Ken. Do you know what you just did?"

"Um, no."

"You just used a B-Class skill called the Perfect Aim."

"A skill? Perfect Aim?"

"Yes, Perfect Aim allows one to have a 100% chance to hit the target and you used it without awakening."

Fang grabbed my shoulders and said, "Ken my boy, you might have a special talent."
