Sabaody Archipelago – The Demon King's Hunt
It was as if time had frozen.
"He crushed a supernova with just a snap of his fingers…?"
Urouge, Hawkins, Bonney, and the others wore dazed expressions.
Bai Yu sat calmly at the bar, casually snapping Capone Bege's limbs apart with a mere flick of his finger.
The scene replayed in their minds as if they had just witnessed a supernova being erased in an instant.
"Condensed Armament Haki?"
Even Shakky was secretly shocked.
She hadn't even registered the moment Bai Yu struck. His frightening skill and unbelievable control over Armament Haki left her speechless.
Meanwhile, the crew of the Fire Tank Pirates collapsed to the ground, utterly horrified.
One second, their godfather had tried to escape joyfully—
The next second, he was completely gone.
"Y-Y-You…!"
Jewelry Bonney stuttered, then suddenly roared in frustration:
"YOU LIED TO ME! YOU WERE OBVIOUSLY—"
"Your turn."
Bai Yu ignored her and turned his indifferent gaze toward Urouge.
Bonney's voice died in her throat.
She swallowed hard.
Her heart turned cold.
"What is he going to… do?"
Bonney wanted to run, but suddenly realized—
Her feet wouldn't move.
The paralyzing fear froze her in place.
Bai Yu was only interested in supernovas.
But if they weren't worth keeping, he'd simply throw them into the Undead Prison or the Gravity Training Space, where his subordinates could educate them.
If they chose death instead—
Then they'd die.
"Wow, you're really strong…"
Urouge, ever the battle-hungry monk, grinned fearlessly.
He had never clashed with a true top-tier fighter before.
Like many rookie pirates, he hadn't yet realized how vast the world truly was.
At first, all newcomers thought they could challenge the Admirals or the Four Emperors.
That was just ignorance.
As Urouge's battle spirit surged, Bai Yu raised his hand again.
"So, your power converts damage into size and strength…?"
"That reminds me of a Holy Scripture called 'Miracle'—but unfortunately, you're just a cheap imitation."
"Show me your limit!"
Bai Yu's Armament Haki condensed into a massive black hand, towering over the bar like a demon's claw.
For an instant—
The entire tavern darkened.
Urouge didn't even have time to react.
The black hand grabbed him and slammed him into the ground.
"CRACK!"
The sickening sound of bones shattering echoed through the bar.
Blood splattered everywhere.
Without even letting out a roar, Urouge fell unconscious, his body on the brink of death.
Bai Yu, unfazed, sipped his rum and spoke flatly:
"That's your limit? Your so-called fighting spirit is pathetic."
The Demon King: A Simple Move, Yet It's Already Too Much for Supernovas to Handle.
With a mere wave of his hand, Bai Yu banished Urouge into the Undead Prison.
His scalp tingled slightly.
Rayleigh was just randomly crippled like this and thrown into another dimension?
Shakky was speechless.
This young Demon King was brutal.
"Battle: Defeat Probability – 100%. Mortality Rate – 50%."
Basil Hawkins spoke in his usual calm tone, drawing his tarot cards.
Despite seeing two supernovas fall instantly, his expression remained unchanged.
Bai Yu glanced at him.
"Do you think your divination is accurate?"
Hawkins fell silent.
He could feel it—Bai Yu had become interested in him.
And that meant—
His fate was now entirely in the Demon King's hands.
"I have no signs of death today."
Hawkins finally responded.
Bai Yu smirked.
"I like your composure."
He hated those weaklings who didn't know their place, shouting and struggling uselessly, wasting his time.
With a flick of his finger—
Space Shift!
Bai Yu instantly transported Hawkins into the Gravity Training Space.
Hawkins crashed to the ground.
In the low-gravity zone, Cavendish, Enel, and others were training.
"Who… is that?" Moria muttered in confusion.
Cavendish, drenched in sweat, replied:
"No idea, never seen him before."
Hawkins, feeling the crushing weight of gravity, groaned in agony.
"HAHAHA! YOU CAN'T EVEN STAND UP—WHAT A WEAKLING!"
Enel mocked him while casually doing push-ups.
Suddenly, Hawkins froze.
He recognized Enel.
The legendary Thunder God, feared for his nearly invincible Logia fruit.
These people…
They were all subordinates of the Demon King.
How did he get here?!
Meanwhile, back at the bar—
The crew members of the fallen supernovas collapsed in horror.
"He killed three supernovas… in an instant?"
This was the legendary Demon King.
His power was beyond comprehension.
"Why?"
Bonney, feeling a chill deep in her bones, looked at Bai Yu with a complex expression.
Her face was deathly pale.
She couldn't comprehend how she had randomly picked a stranger to ask for directions—
And ended up choosing the Demon King himself.
It was insulting to her intelligence.
Bai Yu, swirling his glass of rum, replied:
"Why?"
"Pirates do whatever they want—that's the point."
"You… you're going to kill me too?!"
Bonney's eyes widened in terror.
Was this man really that ruthless?!
Bai Yu didn't answer.
He simply studied the so-called "gluttonous beauty".
Her ridiculous "precautions" had been so amusing that he had decided to play along.
Sweat dripped from Bonney's forehead.
Her instincts screamed at her to run.
"That 'godfather' tried to escape and got wrecked."
"That crazy monk was crushed instantly."
"I… I can't run either!"
She was trapped.
Bonney's Last Gamble
Suddenly, she forced herself to smile and rushed forward excitedly.
"OH MY GOD! YOU'RE REALLY THE DEMON KING?!"
"I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN! I LOVE YOU!"
"CAN I HUG YOU?! JUST ONCE!"
Bai Yu smirked.
Her acting skills were terrible.
"I'M ALMOST THERE!"
Bonney closed the distance.
All she had to do was touch him.
Then—
She'd turn him into a child!
But—
Nothing happened.
"EHH?!"
Bonney froze.
She looked up in shock.
Bai Yu was watching her with mild amusement.
His eyes mocked her.
"How long do you plan to hold on?"
Bai Yu asked.
Bonney stammered:
"P-Pa… Pa…"
"Oh? Calling me 'Papa' already?"
Bai Yu smirked.
"A little too soon for that, isn't it?"
