"Just a few days ago, I heard from the tavern owner that lately, he has often seen men with tattoos similar to His Majesty the King's," Salem added. "Maybe not very often, but at least once or twice. He accidentally noticed them while delivering alcohol supplies to the palace soldiers."
Primrose was left momentarily speechless. Salem had gathered such important information in only a few days. Still, she didn't ask how he managed it. Somehow, she already knew the answer would not be simple.
"Some of them have the tattoo on their arms, others on their legs," Salem continued. "That's why they're hard to notice unless they roll up their sleeves or trousers. But…" His lips curved slightly. "I already found one."
He shifted his gaze toward one of the guests walking toward the balcony. The man's sleeve was stained with red wine, so he had to roll it up to clean his skin.
