Boom
"What?!"
The enormous black shadow fell heavily onto the ground, scattering dirt and dry branches in all directions.
A man standing at the front of the line had no time to dodge and was crushed beneath the shadow, letting out a scream of pain on the damp ground.
When everyone recovered from their shock, they saw that the enormous black shadow was actually an extremely large grizzly bear, and the man who had just been crushed by it was someone who until now had remained calm. Many still did not know whether he was alive or dead.
Oooh!
The grizzly bear leapt out of the bushes with a growl. Its red eyes stared at the more than fifteen armed humans in front of it, and it charged toward them without any fear.
"Quick! Shoot!"
Seeing the massive figure of the grizzly bear approaching, Daryl kept retreating while signaling the others to fire quickly.
His own position was too close to the bear, and his survival instincts made him step back while pulling some people with him. Without needing to say anything, no one wanted to face the claws of a bear.
Bang Bang Bang!
Bang Bang Bang Bang!
Daryl didn't need to say anything else. When everyone saw the grizzly bear charging forward, some people instinctively pulled their triggers and fired at it.
Some even noticed carefully that an arrow had lodged itself into the grizzly bear's body, trembling with the movement of its body before finally falling to the ground.
Oooh!
And the grizzly bear, running wildly, rushed into the crowd and struck the closest person, who was sent flying backward and rolled several times before stabilizing.
Immediately after, it opened its huge mouth and bit another man who was too slow to escape, raised its head high, and hurled the man through the air.
Such a ferocious scene made some people feel fear unconsciously, but after all, they still had many companions around them, weapons in their hands. They did not retreat, instead continuing to fire at the grizzly bear.
Faced with bullets coming at high speed, even its tough hide was not enough to withstand them. The number of bullet holes in its body kept increasing, and blood continued to flow.
Boom!
Boom!
Just as the grizzly bear was fighting against the group, two gunshots suddenly rang out from behind Daryl's group.
Immediately after, in the team, one person carrying an assault rifle was shot in the head, and another was shot in the chest, both collapsing to the ground.
However, this sudden change did not attract much attention, because everyone's eyes were focused on the grizzly bear in front of them at that moment, and everyone was firing continuously, so no one paid attention to the shots coming from behind.
But when the second shot rang out and two more people with rifles were taken down, someone finally reacted and shouted, "Enemy attacks from behind, watch out!"
As soon as those words were spoken, the people who had originally been focused on dealing with the grizzly bear panicked instantly and rushed toward a nearby large tree, afraid of becoming targets.
However, the grizzly bear, which seemed highly abnormal, felt the intense pain overtaking its body, and its movements began to grow even more violent.
The situation on both the front and rear flanks plunged the entire group into chaos, and many of the more experienced ones did not waste time and began identifying targets.
"Ah!"
"I shouldn't have brought inexperienced idiots, damn morons."
Daryl knew that it was very likely they had become targets of the hunters from the camp they had reached, so moving without a plan was extremely dangerous. "First, let's completely kill the bear, then we'll deal with the enemies."
Watching the successive changes happening around him, Daryl's expression was extremely grim. But after many years of hunting experience and more than two years in a world where things had always happened around him alongside Dominic, he quickly gathered the people and made them stand firm against their enemies.
He had some of the people defend against those attacking from behind, while he led the rest to attack the grizzly bear that was violently pursuing them.
The situation improved quickly, and it seemed that the enemies behind them felt pressured by the threat of weapons. After a few seconds, it quickly fell silent, firing only when someone tried to approach.
This abnormal behavior quickly caught the attention of those who were paying attention. At that moment, they realized that at some point, they too had good rifles in their hands.
Although the bear attacking them was bleeding all over, it seemed unable to die no matter how many times it was shot.
"Damn it! Someone seems to have drugged this bear!"
But regardless of the condition the grizzly bear was in, the large bullet wounds in its body and the excessive loss of blood made the movements of its limbs much slower.
"Quick! Don't be afraid!"
Noticing this, Daryl ordered everyone to keep firing.
Oooh!
Bang Bang Bang!
Finally, with the last three shots, the grizzly bear let out a roar of pain, and its massive body collapsed to the ground. However, from the slight rise and fall of its body, it was clear that it was not completely dead, only in a dying state.
On the other side, a man sat helplessly on the snow, cold sweat dripping from his forehead. Many people had died today.
Seeing this, Daryl suddenly felt extremely irritated. He abruptly stood up from the ground, fired several shots at the grizzly bear, and shouted, "Damn beast!"
Crack!
But at that moment, Daryl suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching from behind him, which left him stunned, because he remembered that there shouldn't have been anyone behind him.
Immediately after, he saw the companion in front of him showing a terrified expression.
Daryl turned his head almost unconsciously. What he saw was the face of a fierce, furry animal, and behind it stood a ferocious tiger.
"What the hell? This looks like a damn jungle!"
Seeing the animal's face and realizing it was a tiger, Daryl's eyes were filled with anger, and his hunter's instincts immediately drove him into motion.
