Chapter 495 - Chapter 495: Heading to the Wedding VenueHyūga Hall.

The grand Hyūga estate glowed with soft golden lanterns that shimmered through the night. At the head of the hall, Hyūga Hiashi and his twin brother Hizashi sat proudly on either side of the dais. Their calm expressions barely masked the warmth in their eyes.

At long last, Hinata Hyūga, the eldest daughter of the Hyūga Clan, was getting married.

Standing nearby were Hanabi and Neji. Hanabi clasped her hands together with a bright smile. "Sister, you look so beautiful!" she said softly.

Neji exhaled through his nose, his Byakugan eyes calm yet reflective. Even though he was proud to see his cousin finally find happiness, there was still a faint sadness inside him. His little sister figure was truly becoming someone else's wife.

Across the hall stood the groomsmen and bridesmaids, watching quietly — Shikamaru and Temari, Sakura and Sasuke, Chōji and Karui. Each of them exchanged glances that carried a hint of emotion. They all knew their turn would come someday.

Naruto Uzumaki took Hinata's hand, his palm warm and firm, and together they stepped forward. They knelt down respectfully before Hiashi and Hizashi.

A clan attendant came forward, carefully carrying a tray of porcelain teacups. Hanabi received it gracefully and turned toward her sister and brother-in-law, presenting it with both hands.

Naruto reached for the first cup and, bowing his head slightly, said, "Father-in-law, please have some tea."

Hiashi's stern expression softened. "Hmm." He accepted the cup, took a slow sip, and nodded with satisfaction. "You've done well."

Then Naruto lifted the second cup and turned toward Hizashi. "Uncle Hizashi, please drink tea."

Though Hizashi's existence was a special one — reanimated briefly through the power of ninjutsu for this once-in-a-lifetime moment — his smile was gentle and full of life. "Good, good, good!" he said three times, taking the tea with delight. "My niece-in-law's tea is excellent!"

Hiashi chuckled quietly from beside him. Hinata blushed with happiness, unable to hide her joy. Naruto's grin was wide and boyish, but his eyes glimmered with sincerity.

After they both served tea, Naruto and Hinata rose together.

Outside, the Hyūga clan's butler directed the attendants to light the long strings of firecrackers that had been prepared. The sharp crack-crack-crack filled the air, echoing down the streets of Konoha.

Naruto guided Hinata gently toward the courtyard where the carriage awaited. Behind them followed six pairs of groomsmen and bridesmaids — loyal friends who had fought countless battles together and now stood witness to this peaceful day.

As the couple climbed into the decorated carriage, the atmosphere shifted from solemn to joyous. The wheels began to roll, escorted by their friends on either side.

The streets of Konohagakure had never been livelier. Lanterns hung from rooftops, petals floated through the air, and villagers leaned out of windows to wave. Children laughed and chased after the carriage, shouting Naruto's name.

"Congratulations, Naruto-niichan!" a little boy called out.

Naruto leaned out slightly, laughing and waving. He turned to Hinata, her veil shimmering softly under the moonlight. "Heh, it's like the whole village came out for us."

Hinata smiled, her cheeks pink. "It feels… unreal," she whispered.

The cameraman following the carriage jogged ahead with his equipment. "Naruto! Hinata! Look this way!" he called. "Now, give me a smile — and a kiss!"

Naruto blinked, then scratched the back of his head. "A-Ah, alright…"

Hinata giggled nervously, but when Naruto leaned in, she met him halfway. Their lips brushed in a tender kiss that made the entire street erupt with cheers and whistles.

"Perfect!" the cameraman laughed. "Beautiful shot!"

But before they could relax, a familiar voice shouted, "Naruto-nii! One more for me!"

Konohamaru came running with his own smaller camera, flanked by Udon and Moegi.

Naruto facepalmed. "Konohamaru… seriously?"

"Come on! One more!" Konohamaru insisted, beaming.

Naruto sighed, turning to Hinata again. She smiled shyly, and they kissed once more — a brief but genuine one. Konohamaru snapped the picture and made an OK sign before sprinting off triumphantly.

The journey continued. The carriage rolled along flower-lined paths until finally, the grand wedding venue came into view. As the horses slowed, the sky above exploded into a burst of fireworks. The entire crowd erupted with cheers.

Naruto stepped out first, extending a hand toward Hinata as she gracefully descended. When he looked up, he froze — the sheer number of people took his breath away. The field was packed, easily more than the crowd that had gathered when Kakashi had been inaugurated as Hokage.

Hinata gasped softly. "Naruto-kun, there are… so many people!"

Naruto chuckled. "Yeah… they're all here for us."

The master of ceremonies lifted his mic, his voice booming through the speakers: "Let us welcome the newlyweds — Uzumaki Naruto and Hyūga Hinata!"

The crowd roared.

"Naruto! Naruto! Naruto!"

"Our hero!"

"Hinata-sama is so beautiful!"

The Hyūga clan members quickly joined in, led by Neji, who raised his voice: "Miss Hinata is the most beautiful bride in all of Konoha!"

That sparked a wave of cheers.

"Hinata-sama! Hinata-sama!"

The sound of applause, fireworks, and laughter filled the air.

A red carpet, stretching nearly a hundred meters, led to the main stage. On both sides stood rows of flower boys and girls, each holding baskets filled with petals. Their outfits bore the insignia of the Konoha Academy, personally organized by Iruka-sensei himself.

As Naruto and Hinata stepped forward, symphonic music began to play. With every step, the children scattered petals across their path, filling the air with color.

Hand in hand, the two walked slowly down the carpet, smiling and waving to the crowd.

When they reached the front, Iruka Umino appeared on stage, holding a microphone. Naruto blinked in surprise.

"Eh? Iruka-sensei? Wasn't he supposed to sit with Ero-Sennin and my dad?" he muttered under his breath, confused.

Iruka smiled warmly and addressed the crowd. The noise faded as he began to speak.

"Good evening, everyone. I'm Iruka Umino, and I can't tell you how happy I am to stand here today. Naruto…" His voice trembled slightly. "…to me, he's not just a student. He's family — like a little brother."

The crowd quieted as Iruka spoke from his heart. He recalled Naruto's childhood — the lonely boy who had stolen the Scroll of Seals, chased down by Iruka himself, and how that night revealed Naruto's courage.

"I thought I'd lose my life that day," Iruka admitted, smiling faintly. "But it was Naruto who saved me — the boy everyone once shunned. He mastered the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu, an A-rank technique… one day after failing to perform a basic clone properly."

Laughter rippled through the guests, especially among Naruto's friends.

Neji crossed his arms, smiling faintly. His mind drifted to their battle during the Chūnin Exams. He remembered being defeated by Naruto — a boy who had once seemed hopeless — and realizing how wrong he had been.

"Yes," Neji thought with a quiet smirk. "That's the jutsu he's best at."

Sasuke also smirked faintly, recalling their early rivalry. "Hmph… the idiot used that same trick to tie me up once. Never thought that loser would be the one standing here before all of us."

Iruka continued, his tone filled with pride. "The proudest moment of my life," he said, pausing for breath, "was when I placed the forehead protector on Naruto's head and welcomed him as a true ninja of the Hidden Leaf."

A wave of emotion swept through the crowd. In the audience, Kushina Uzumaki — revived through Edo Tensei only for this ceremony — wiped her eyes. Tears streamed down her face, glowing under the light.

"My Naruto…" she whispered. "You've come so far."

At her side, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, sat silently, his pipe forgotten. He turned slightly away so she wouldn't see the tears forming in his eyes.

For all the pain, loss, and battles that had once consumed their world — today, Konoha celebrated love, peace, and the promise of new beginnings.

And standing at the center of it all, hand in hand, were Uzumaki Naruto and Hyūga Hinata — two souls who had endured loneliness, war, and destiny, now bound by the most powerful force of all.

Love.
