Chapter 334 - Chapter 334 – Let's Take a Look at the Battle in the Future

Seeing that everyone had arrived, Tsunade stood up.

"Everyone has arrived. I now declare that the second meeting of the Five Kage Summit has officially begun!"

With that said, Tsunade glanced at Naruto before sitting down.

Naruto gave her a small nod, then turned his gaze to everyone present.

"Everyone, the Fourth Great Ninja War is over. Regarding the ongoing conflicts between shinobi, I believe each of the Kage here already has their own understanding of the situation."

The five Kage exchanged looks and nodded in agreement.

Naruto continued, his tone becoming more serious.

"Here, I also want to confess something to all of you… I came here from the future. To be precise, I was reborn—sent back to this point in time with my memories intact."

At his words, the eyes of everyone present hardened in surprise, though none looked completely shocked—they had already heard bits and pieces of this before.

Gaara, in particular, had already fought alongside Naruto and had seen fragments of his memories first-hand.

Fourth Raikage, A, thought back to when he had returned to Kumogakure and asked Killer B why he had followed Naruto without hesitation, even leaving his own brother behind.

B's answer had been clear: Naruto had come from the future, chosen by the Sage of the Six Paths himself. There were terrifying events ahead, and if they wanted to survive, they had to trust Naruto completely.

Thinking of this, Raikage's gaze sharpened as he looked at Naruto.

"Naruto! B told me that there will be a great disaster in the future, and that you showed it to him—so he believed you without question. I originally thought you meant the Fourth Ninja War… but now that it's over, you should tell us about this future war."

Before Naruto could answer, Gaara spoke up.

"The enemies in the future come from the far reaches of the starry sky. They are members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, the same threat Naruto mentioned to us before."

Raikage turned to him. "You've seen them yourself, Kazekage?"

Gaara crossed his arms and leaned slightly forward on the table.

"Like Lord Raikage's brother, I still have the chakra of my tailed beast—Shukaku—inside me. That's why Naruto was able to show me his memories from the start. That's how I learned the truth."

Raikage didn't question it further. After experiencing the Fourth War—and even witnessing the power of the Sage of Six Paths—he no longer doubted the unbelievable.

Onoki, the elderly Tsuchikage, spoke next.

"Conflict among shinobi has always existed, but thanks to Black Zetsu, history has been twisted and manipulated for centuries. Now that Black Zetsu has been sealed away by Naruto and Sasuke, we should turn our full attention to preparing for the war Naruto is talking about."

Mei Terumi, the Mizukage, nodded in agreement.

"Lord Tsuchikage is right, but we still know very little about the Ōtsutsuki Clan that dwell beyond the stars."

Tsunade looked at Naruto.

"That's true… Naruto, can you use the Rinnegan to project and show us the scenes from your future?"

Naruto exhaled slowly, then gave a reluctant nod.

"Alright."

He rose to his feet, stepping in front of them.

"Everyone, look at me."

Gaara waved a hand dismissively.

"I'll pass. I've already seen it once, and I have no wish to relive that nightmare."

Raikage gave him a doubtful look.

"Scary enough to shake the mighty Kazekage, huh?"

Gaara made a small gesture of invitation.

"Watch it later without screaming, and I'll consider you impressive."

Once everyone was ready, Naruto drew on his Memory Chakra, channeling it into his Rinnegan before projecting it outward. Instantly, their vision shifted—pulled into the same mental landscape Naruto had once shown Gaara.

The first thing Raikage saw was Kumogakure engulfed in flames.

"Bakayarō! Who did this? Who dares attack my village?!"

His anger flared as his eyes locked on his younger brother, Killer B, in full Gyūki form, hurling a Tailed Beast Ball high into the air.

But then, Raikage's eyes widened. The massive sphere of destructive chakra stopped mid-flight—caught by an unseen force.

A man stepped into view, holding out one hand casually as he restrained the Tailed Beast Ball. His lips curled in a contemptuous smirk.

"Hey, you stubborn little calf… still resisting? Fine. Let's see if I can break you."

With a small motion of his clasped hands, the enormous sphere shattered like fragile glass, crushed by an invisible power.

Raikage's mind reeled—he knew just how destructive that attack was. Even he couldn't neutralize one so easily.

Before he could process it, the man moved again, pulling out what looked like a fishing rod. With a smooth motion, he cast the line toward Gyūki. The Eight-Tails tensed as if sensing a deadly threat.

Raikage was baffled—what kind of weapon could make even his brother wary?

He was about to intervene when another figure flashed forward in a burst of lightning.

"You bastard! You're not allowed to hurt my brother!"

Raikage froze—this wasn't him.

Wait… why was his counterpart missing an arm?!

The one-armed Raikage lunged, but the enemy simply swung the fishing line toward him. The hook caught, and in an instant, the one-armed Raikage's strength vanished. His body fell heavily, lifeless.

"Boss!"

Darui, now the Fifth Raikage, appeared in a flash of black lightning, launching an attack—only to be overwhelmed and defeated as well.

B roared in fury, charging again, but several more figures appeared behind the man with the fishing rod. Each radiated massive chakra, and with a wave of their hands, they unleashed devastating blasts resembling Tailed Beast Balls.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The explosions ripped through Kumogakure, reducing the village to rubble. Shinobi fell one after another. Killer B, Darui, and even the one-armed Raikage were all struck down.

A final explosion of blinding white light consumed everything.

"No! No! Don't!!!" Raikage shouted—until the illusion faded, snapping him back to the present.

He jolted upright, breathing hard. "No! No! No!"

Hearing the commotion, Darui and C burst into the room.

"Boss! What's wrong?!"

"Lord Raikage, are you alright?!"

The other bodyguards rushed in, but Gaara gestured for Temari and Kankurō to lead them back outside. He did the same for the other Kage's guards.

Naruto said calmly, "No… everyone here—whether Kage or right-hand man—will play a role in the future. You should all see this."

He pulled the five Kage's bodyguards into the same vision. Their reactions were even more intense than Raikage's.

Darui dropped to his knees before A, tears in his eyes.

"Boss… I'm sorry. I'm so sorry…"

He had seen himself as Fifth Raikage—yet unable to protect the village, allowing both A and B to die.

Kurotsuchi turned to her grandfather.

"Grandpa, why didn't you pass the title directly to Dad? Why leave the village to me?"

Onoki remembered the scene of Iwagakure's destruction, and his granddaughter sacrificing herself without hesitation. He gave a faint smile.

"Perhaps… in the new era, the village will need young people like you more than old men like me."

Chōjūrō stumbled toward Mei, tears streaming down his face.

"Lady Mizukage, thank you… for trusting me with the village. I swear, I'll protect it with my life!"

Mei smiled, satisfied with her choice.

Ao, standing nearby, looked on in pride.

Tsunade's eyes lingered on Jiraiya. She had noticed his absence in the vision of Konoha's destruction.

Jiraiya caught her look and smiled softly, the final pieces of his own puzzle falling into place. He had died during the battle in Amegakure—and Naruto had somehow saved him here in this timeline.

"That time," he murmured, "you won."

Tsunade pursed her lips, stepped forward, and slapped him lightly on the cheek.

"Idiot."
