Might Guy prepared himself for the final, decisive blow.
"Sekizō!"
With a deafening boom, a red shockwave erupted from Guy's body, and then — the massive, fiery head of a dragon took form, swirling around him with overwhelming force.
Sensing the sheer magnitude of this power, Uchiha Madara's eyes lit up with excitement. He spun his Shakujo staff and declared with genuine respect:
"With this level of chakra, I acknowledge you! Among all the taijutsu users I have ever encountered, none can surpass you. I, Madara, am willing to call you… the strongest!"
Guy glared at Madara, a thin smile curling across his lips. He exhaled a mouthful of white steam before bellowing:
"Yosh!"
One roar. One strike.
Guy charged forward in a blur, the dragon head surging alongside him, its roar shaking the air. Madara raised his Shakujo to block — but as the dragon's head drew close, the immense pressure bent the staff itself.
Madara's eyes widened in disbelief.
"What? Is the very space itself… distorting?"
Before he could fully react, Guy's ultimate attack had already landed.
"Night Guy!"
The dragon's head slammed directly into Madara, and Guy's foot buried itself into his opponent's abdomen. The force sent shockwaves across the battlefield. Madara's scream tore through the air as blood burst from his mouth.
With an explosive crash, Madara's body was launched across the terrain, carving a deep trench before slamming into the massive roots of the God Tree. The roots cracked and splintered from the impact before finally stopping his momentum.
Guy's body, however, had reached its limit. He collapsed to the ground, his skin charred black from the strain of the Eighth Gate.
"…Sorry, Sasuke. I'll be going on ahead," Guy murmured weakly.
Sasuke was still recovering from the strain on his left eye. Naruto, however, didn't waste a second — he couldn't let Guy's life fade away.
In a flash of yellow light, before Sasuke could respond, Naruto used the Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport directly to Guy's side.
Because Naruto had previously distributed Kurama's chakra to the entire Allied Shinobi Forces, even Guy carried a faint trace of it within him. Though small, that chakra was still there, allowing Naruto to instantly lock onto Guy's location.
When he arrived, Naruto's eyes immediately darted to Guy's feet. Fortunately, they hadn't yet begun to crumble into ash. That meant there was still time — Guy could be saved.
Naruto acted without hesitation, pressing his palm to Guy's chest.
"Yang Release: Chakra Seal!"
Golden energy surged into Guy's heart, reinforcing its beat and stabilizing his chakra flow.
"Sensei!"
Rock Lee sprinted toward them, his eyes wide with panic. Tears streamed down his face as he knelt beside his fallen mentor.
"Sensei! Speak to me! Please, open your eyes!"
Naruto gave Lee a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Bushy Brows — he's not going to die."
Lee blinked, stunned. "Really, Naruto?"
Naruto nodded toward the glowing seal on Guy's chest. "I've placed a special chakra seal over his heart. He'll make it. But we have to get him to the medics — fast."
Lee's tears turned to relief, and he quickly wiped them away. "Thank you… Thank you so much!"
"Careful with him," Naruto warned. "Carry him on your back and watch his feet. His bones are shattered — don't jolt them."
Lee nodded firmly, lifting his mentor with the utmost care.
Meanwhile, Madara struggled to steady his breathing. This time, unlike in his past life, he hadn't absorbed the full chakra of Gyūki and Kurama. That left him weaker than before — but his Edo Tensei-enhanced body still granted him near-limitless endurance. And by shifting his heart's position inside his chest earlier, Guy's devastating kick hadn't completely obliterated him.
Still, he couldn't ignore the fact that Naruto's intervention had saved Guy's life.
As Naruto turned to help Lee, Madara's gaze sharpened. This was his chance — a single, fatal strike while they were distracted.
He summoned a Truth-Seeking Orb, molding it into a deadly black sphere, and hurled it at Naruto with lethal precision.
The sphere cut through the air with a hiss.
Naruto sensed the incoming attack and began to counter — but before he could move, someone else appeared in front of him.
With a single, powerful kick, Sasuke Uchiha struck the Truth-Seeking Orb, sending it ricocheting back toward Madara.
The impact forced Madara to halt his advance. His eyes widened in surprise.
"…The Truth-Seeking Ball… was kicked away?!"
Sasuke stood tall, his left eye — now evolved into the Rinnegan — gleaming with power. The transplanted Sharingan he had received had transformed completely under the Yin power of the Sage of Six Paths.
Naruto grinned. "Not bad, Sasuke. Pretty stylish."
In their previous life, Naruto had been the one to kick away Madara's attack — but this time, Sasuke had beaten him to it.
Sasuke smirked faintly. "Stay sharp. Overconfidence will get you killed."
Naruto chuckled, while Lee — carrying Guy on his back — gave Naruto one last nod before retreating toward the medics.
Now side by side, Naruto and Sasuke turned to face Madara.
Sasuke asked in a low voice, "Do we finish him now… or wait?"
Only Naruto understood the real question. Since sharing their past-life memories, Sasuke knew everything that had happened before — including Kaguya's eventual appearance. The question was whether to strike Madara down here, or let him advance to the point of summoning Kaguya.
Naruto glanced at the God Tree in the distance. "The flowers are about to bloom, right?"
Sasuke frowned. "What are you saying?"
Naruto's gaze didn't waver. "Let it happen. When everyone is trapped in a dream, they'll see for themselves what I've been trying to tell them. For what comes next — for building an army — that's going to matter."
Sasuke gave a small nod.
Sure enough, Madara had recovered enough to resume his plan. His eyes flicked between Naruto and Sasuke — both of whom now possessed Six Paths power and Truth-Seeking Balls. Something felt… wrong.
No matter. He would proceed.
Madara leapt high into the air, facing the moon. With one motion, he tore open the skin on his forehead — revealing the fully awakened Rinne Sharingan.
Instantly, the God Tree's massive bud began to bloom.
Below, the Five Kage looked on in horror.
"This is bad…"
Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen, still pinned by Madara's black receivers, struggled against their restraints.
Tobirama shouted, "Where's Naruto?! Why hasn't he stopped Madara yet?!"
Hashirama's eyes narrowed. Madara… Is this dream world truly the ideal you seek?
The Rinne Sharingan reflected the moonlight, linking with it. The God Tree's flowers opened in full bloom — and the Infinite Tsukuyomi was ready.
Sasuke's expression hardened. He instantly enveloped himself and Naruto within his Complete Body — Susanoo's armored shell shielding them completely.
With a deep hum, the moon transformed into the Eye of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. A blinding beam of light shot across the earth.
Everywhere, people stopped what they were doing, their eyes lifting toward the moon. One by one, their pupils morphed into the Rinnegan pattern… and they fell into the eternal dream.
