The late evening sky was streaked orange and violet, and the air was cool enough that his breath carried a faint fog when he exhaled.
He tilted his head back, staring at the sky and from the phone, Seonhwa's voice came again, "Master… when are you returning? It's… boring without you here."
Brandon let out a low laugh "Boring, huh? I will be back soon. I am just handling some things at the academy."
A soft sigh filtered through the speaker. "I understand… just don't forget you have a maid waiting. Okay?"
"Yeah, yeah," he replied with a smile. "I'm not forgetting you."
Right then, he felt a pair of arms slip around his waist from behind.
Her familiar scent wrapped around him before Florence's voice did "Mhm. Talking sweetly to someone again?"
