The drive back to the city took a little over an hour.
By the time Naevora turned off the main road and entered the hotel district, the sun began to sink behind the surrounding buildings.
Brandon spent most of the journey relaxing in the passenger seat, occasionally pestering her whenever the silence lasted too long.
Naevora eventually pulled into the underground parking garage of a hotel and guided the car into a space.
After switching off the engine, she unfastened her seat belt and glanced at her passenger, who showed no immediate intention of getting out.
"Are you planning to sleep in my car?"
Brandon looked around the interior "It's quite comfortable, actually."
"Come out, Kael..."
He followed her with a quiet laugh, joining her beside the car.
Once inside the elevator, Naevora pressed the button for the floor where her room was located.
Brandon leaned against the wall beside her, watching the numbers illuminate one after another.
