The uncomfortable silence which followed her outburst continued for five minutes.
Zeeshu and Guru sensed a deep melancholy which turned into a volcano in Jeet's eyes.
Has Rash bitten of more than she can chew thought Zeeshu.
He instinctively moved to her right laying a protective hand on her. Guru followed his suit moving to her left.
The dragon stared at her. But she stood her ground staring him back with those tear filled hateful eyes.
After five minutes he asked in a chilling voice:-
" What do you want Mrs. Oberoi"?
Zeeshu's hand tightened on her.
" I will take Chi Chi far away from you where neither you, nor your friends and nor your enemies can hurt her. She deserves to be happy without death looming over her innocent self", said Rash without faltering.
" You will take my wife away from me and I will sit there watching as a useless spectator ", he hissed.
She shrugged.
" You haven't done anything else so far except that you harass me and Kash too", she sneered. " She has just suffered being related to you. And I'll even murder you if I have to take her away. And I am not sloppy like that rotting witch".
Sumeet laughed out loud mockingly.
" You threaten me with death. The irony of the world ", he continued laughing.
Rash boiled in anger. She got so agitated she pulled out Zeeshu's gun and pointed it straight on Sumeet's head.
" RASH", both Guru and Zeeshu stood open mouthed.
She heard his bodyguards pointing their gun at her. But Dragon was unfazed and so was Rash.
" Doubted me sweetheart ", she mocked.
He smiled then he slowly removed the gun's safety looking in her eyes.
" You get one chance", he whispered. " NO ONE WILL HARM HER IF I DIE", he roared. " Shoot", he said calmly to her.
Rash shivered. She tried but she couldn't. Her grip loosened. The gun fell with a clatter. And she collapsed.
" Rash", Jeet cried. He picked her up.
" She is highly agitated ", said Guru.
" Baby", Jeet whispered slowly.
" I will kill you", hissed Zeeshu.
He punched Jeet hard. Before he could understand Guru gave him another punch.
" As much as I would love to indulge you both", said Jeet." My wife is not well".
" I am killing him this time. Rash love", said Zeeshu as he sprinkled water.
" Aah who is drowning me", she cried.
" We wouldn't dare queen. Welcome back to Earth", said Guru.
Jeet hovered nearby.
" And I have to see his face again", she scoffed looking at him.
" Why don't we all calm down and talk like civil people. I am offering peace Mrs. Oberoi ", said the dragon.
She stared at him for a long time.
" Very well", she said.
" My office ", he suggested.
" I am not leaving her alone with you", said Zeeshu. " Either you agree or we settle this with fists and kicks".
" You are in", smiled the dragon.
" Me too. Honourable chief minister's orders. I am on bodyguard duty today", said Guru.
" He still loves giving orders", Sumeet shook his head. " As if we are his pets and not friends ".
" He is an as*h*le", shrugged Guru.
Dragon laughed again as the mood lightened.
Ten minutes later
" I specifically asked you to be honest with Chi Chi. To tell her that Sheetal was the assasin that killed her child", said Rash.
" She is in depression. So I thought she shouldn't suffer more", said Sumeet.
Rash sighed.
" She taunted her with it. She said. She said you both were having affair and you ordered that kill", said Rash.
Zeeshu let out an expletive.
" Poor Chi Chi just was crying. I could have killed her", said Rash.
" What exactly happened ", Sumeet asked in clipped anger.
She took out her mobile and showed him. She has recorded their conversation. Sumeet saw it in chilled silence his face completely expressionless.
After it ended Rash said in a chilling tone:-
" You married Chi Chi for two purposrs heirs and revenge. Sheetal Kapoor is still alive. So you have not avenged yourself and she killed your heir. What are you going to do about it"?
" I will decide what I will do", said Sumeet calmly. "Your job is done. You can leave".
" Pass", she said.
" So you would try to kill her", he raised a brow.
" I wish but I gave my word to my husband that you will be the one delivering justice ", she said.
" So what is it that you want", he asked.
" Front row seat to her death show. Life slowly leaving her body. It will give me immense pleasure ", she smirked.
" You have genes of a serial killer", said Zeeshu. " Did CPS adopt you"?
She glared.
" And if I refuse", asked Sumeet.
" Then I'll ask Jeet to intervene. She is a wanted criminal. He will see to her death and Chi Chi is safe. I too will get what I want but you will miss your precious revenge", she said non-chalantly.
" Add blackmail to the list", said Guru.
" Okay you will.. ", Sumeet was saying when his cell rang.
It was Shaun.
" Yes Josef", he picked the call.
" I. It's m.me s.sir", came a soft voice.
Rash heard it.
She snatched his cell and put it on speaker.
" Apologize to her", she whispered.
" Pet I am so sorry you were dragged in my vendetta. I have not seen your sister since that wedding. I love only you my pet. Trust me", he said with a heavy voice.
" I do sir", she said weakly.
" D. did s. she k. kill our d. daughter sir", she asked in a tearful voice.
" Yes pet", he replied.
There was an uncomfortable silence.
Chanchal then spoke in a dangerous voice.
" I WILL KILL HER".
" You will land the first blow pet and death will come to her slowly and painfully ", promised Sumeet.
" I want to see the life ebbing away from her eyes", said Chanchal.
" I promise you it will happen ", said Sumeet.
" She will only come out of her hole when she finds you alone and vulnerable ", said Rash.
" Rash", she asked.
" Oh I was just putting some sense in your husband's head. Don't mind me", she said.
" By holding a gun to my head", said Sumeet.
They could hear Shaun and Kash chuckle as Chanchal s*cked in a breath.
" She is a worm and to bring her out we need an act", said Rash. " Starring you Chi Chi. Are you in? Can you do it"?
" Yes Rash", she replied.
" Good Diva we meet tomorrow to discuss the script", she said. " You don't scr*w this up", she said to Sumeet.
" Never", he said.
" Fine I am leaving. Chi Chi stays with me tonight ", she said.
" Pet will you be fine", asked Sumeet.
" Yes sir", she said.
" Good night Mrs. Oberoi", he said. " Sweet dreams ", he whispered s*ductively.

" Zeeshu take care man", Guru hugged him. " Dragon", he nodded.
" Walia", he nodded back.
And the reverse countdown began for Sheetal Kapoor.
