Since Rael was especially bored today, he spent the next couple of hours just watching them work. From time to time, some civilians went up to him to take some pictures. It was a first for him, since by no means was he a celebrity.
Sure, he was their king and all, but... Did he really even act like a king? This whole continent was run by his Constructs. Even Zafira had accepted it at some point down the line, and just gave up the whole Queen gig entirely.
Honestly? He didn't blame her. He would've done the same if he were in her shoes. After all, this kind of automation was something people could only dream of.
To that end, they eventually finished their shifts, and with Evelyn still eyeing him from the side, Gaia approached him, a slightly puzzled look on her face.
"You didn't say anything in the group. Why?"
Rael shrugged. "Maybe I wanted it to be a surprise? Who knows."
