It didn't take long before dozens of floating skulls left the ship and began tampering with everyone onboard. Of course, since only Lilith and now Melina were on board, there weren't that many people to tamper with.
But the few they tampered with... well, they weren't the most happy at the moment.
"What the hell, Rael?" Lilith asked, leaning over the railing. "Couldn't you have just gotten us some kind of broken ship rather than a cursed ship?"
Rael shrugged. "To be fair, had I gotten you a broken ship for the same price, it would've been a piece of shit that can't even swim. Trust me, this is the best you could've gotten."
She pointed her finger at him, then pouted. "As if you couldn't give us something better. You're just greedy."
Calling him greedy was like calling him beautiful. Both went hand in hand and represented his core. Or something...
