Melina shrugged. "Well, what else am I supposed to do? Have you even noticed how many continents Theo and I conquered for you? Probably not, right? Well... it doesn't matter. You're probably too rich by now to notice."
True.
He was indeed too rich to notice. More importantly, though, Rael was a bit surprised she didn't have more to say, especially since it really had been two decades since they met. Granted, she looked the same as when he first met her.
He might be the only person who changed, to be frank.
"Speaking of, where's Theo? I can still somewhat feel my connection with him, but it's pretty faint," Rael asked.
Melina thought it over for a moment, then chuckled. "To be honest, I think he's been kidnapped. I remember I told him to try conquering the ocean, and the last time I heard something from him was when his wife went out to search for him."
