Rael quietly walked over to Melissa, and when he arrived, he simply stared at her, unsure of how to react.
She was wide awake, but her gaze was turned away from him. Whether it was because she didn't want to see him or she was still out of it, he wasn't sure.
But even so, he summoned a chair right beside her and stared at the empty Mind Realm sky.
"It's really been a while, huh?" Rael muttered. "You probably don't recognize me, but I'm also Rael. Just from the future, and from a different universe, I guess."
"I honestly hoped it wouldn't have come to this... but I guess I only have my recklessness to blame," he added. "Defeating someone weak with all my power definitely wasn't the smartest move. Not my proudest moment either."
