"Does this count as a win?" Rael asked plainly.
Kareth nodded. "Zarkul lost the moment he used more of his power."
"So why didn't you all intervene?" Rael tilted his head with a slight frown. "I don't mean to say I'm weak, but I definitely would've died there."
"I told them not to intervene," Vatyra said with a scoff. "He knew we were coming, so he started holding back. If he wanted to really kill you, he would've done so the moment you saw the Far Lands."
Kareth suddenly turned toward her with a deep frown.
"Vatyra..."
"Hey, come on now. He would've found out eventually," Vatyra reasoned. "It's not like that location is a secret."
"It is," Evelyn chimed in with a sigh. "We can't erase his memories either because of the blessing I gave him... Well, what do you say, Kareth? He technically is a part of your trial, so you're responsible for him."
