Rael hummed in satisfaction as he approached the door, then swung it open. Immediately, a long hallway came into view, and of course, he had no idea where he was going.
Even so, he picked a random side, which just so happened to be the left, and then began walking in that direction.
It was getting a bit annoying to limp around like this, but he couldn't help it. Healing Jashin out of nowhere was a stupid move that could easily be noticed.
Still, Rael finally arrived at a crossing and turned left again. He continued walking until, eventually, he spotted a single guard patrolling the halls.
Once the guard spotted Rael, he froze, then curtly bowed.
"Greetings, Fifth Seat. I apologize for not noticing you sooner," the guard said, then rose, meeting Rael's eyes. "What is it you're looking for at such a time? Even esteemed beings such as yourself need rest."
"Would you believe me if I told you I was looking for the bathroom?" Rael mused.
The guard's brows twitched. "Uh... Sir?"
