"No, you can't," Anubis corrected. "You've used a Divine-ranked skill despite not being ascended yet. Your powers are beyond what's possible for your level, and so are Rael's. That's not necessarily good. If you use a skill of that caliber again, you will disappear from this universe."
"Then I can ascend!" Zafira said, stretching her hand forward and grabbing hold of Anubis's collar. "If I ascend, can you send me there?"
Anubis stared at her for a moment before pointing ahead.
"It's too late."
The moment she uttered those words, Zafira's eyes widened.
"Huh? Did he just..." Lilith muttered.
Zafira caught onto that. "Did he remove you as well?"
Lilith's expression seemed shocked for a few moments, but then it turned slightly confused.
Her eyes turned unfocused, and her pupils dilated as she suddenly tilted her head.
"Hmm? Who?" Lilith asked, glancing around and spotting the rift. "Why were we watching this again?"
