Chapter 210 - CHAPTER 210

Fighting against Obito and Deidara, Uchiha Kiyo was incredibly calm. This alone showcased his immense strength. Handling one or even two enemies at once, he was effortlessly victorious. This was no mere coincidence.

The key to his ease in combat was intelligence. Kiyo's knowledge of Obito was extensive, and he knew nearly every weakness in Obito's abilities. By exploiting those weaknesses with precise countermeasures, the battle became significantly easier.

However, this does not diminish Uchiha Kiyo's strength. Knowing how to restrain an enemy's abilities is an advantage in itself.

With Uchiha Kiyo's strength, in the original timeline, only Uchiha Madara could truly challenge him. However, the immortals of the Six Paths were an unknown factor, and Uchiha Kiyo was not one to act recklessly. While there may be few who could defeat him, the Otsutsuki clan was one of the possible threats.

The three immortals, their full strength remains a mystery. But considering their longevity, it's safe to assume they possess formidable power.

The battle's aftermath was no small affair. After Kiyo unleashed his Buddha's Fury Lotus, a thunderous roar and periodic earthquakes reverberated across a hundred-mile radius.

"Someone should be here soon."

After tidying up the battlefield, Kiyo Uchiha made his way toward Konoha.

As expected, this was the Land of Fire, within Konoha's sphere of influence. With such a massive disturbance, it was inevitable that someone would come to investigate.

Not long after Kiyo left, a team of Konoha ninjas arrived at the battlefield.

"Teacher, was someone fighting here just now?" one of the students asked, eyes wide with concern.

"Who could cause this kind of destruction during a battle?" another murmured.

It seemed they were newly graduated ninjas, led by a Jōnin guide on a mission. After hearing the commotion, they decided to investigate.

Konoha's Jōnin, though equally shocked, maintained composure. As a seasoned ninja, he understood the gravity of the situation, but his training kept him steady. This wasn't the site of an ongoing battle; the aftermath was calm, and there was no immediate danger.

Still, when faced with the questions of his students, the Jōnin hesitated. What kind of fight could cause this level of devastation? The craters, the magma still radiating heat—everything suggested an intense clash.

"Not good, there are two powerful chakra signatures approaching!"

While still mulling over the situation, the Jōnin's senses flared, and a sense of danger washed over him.

His students, sensing his alarm, quickly moved into defensive positions.

From the distance, two figures dressed in black cloaks adorned with red clouds approached.

One had short black hair with tear marks beneath his eyes, the unmistakable symbol of the Uchiha clan. The scratched Konoha headband indicated his defection.

"That's… Uchiha Itachi!" Konoha's Jōnin exclaimed, his voice laced with fear. "If you get a chance, run as fast as you can. Report back to the village. Uchiha Itachi is in the Land of Fire."

Uchiha Itachi, having already sensed the presence of the Konoha ninjas, didn't bother with them. He simply glanced over before turning his attention back to the battlefield.

Beside him, the shark-faced ninja, Kisame Hoshigaki, spoke up, curiosity in his tone. "Who was fighting here? The movement was massive."

"Melted escape," Itachi replied coolly, his aloof demeanor unchanged as he observed the battlefield.

His eyes narrowed as he studied the scene. The immense fist-shaped craters caught his attention. The sheer size of the marks suggested something far beyond normal ninjutsu.

Was it Susanoo?

But the size and shape didn't match. Instinctively, Uchiha Itachi thought of the legendary technique but quickly dismissed the idea. The body was too large; it wasn't Susanoo. He'd have to ask Deidara and the others for more information.

The truth quickly dawned on him: Deidara and his comrade, Afei, had been engaged in the battle, and they were likely the ones who lost. This unexpected strong presence had thrown off his plans.

His brow furrowed in frustration. He had a bad feeling about this.

But wait—he had the power of the Sharingan, the kaleidoscope at his disposal. He could feel the familiar pull of his Uchiha heritage, and his mind sharpened.

"We'll ask Deidara and the others for details," Itachi said, turning away from the Konoha ninjas. "Let's go."

The two figures retreated into the distance, leaving the four Konoha ninjas behind, bewildered but safe—for now.

The Jōnin exhaled in relief, his body drenched in sweat. Uchiha Itachi's presence was overwhelming. He knew he could never defeat someone of that caliber, and the stress had nearly broken him.

"Hurry. We need to report this to the Hokage."

As soon as Itachi and Kisame disappeared, the Konoha Jōnin didn't waste another moment, urging his students to leave quickly. He knew the information about Uchiha Itachi's appearance in the Land of Fire was urgent.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Kiyo, unaware of Itachi's proximity, was already well on his way to Konoha. Had he known that Itachi was so close, he would have reconsidered his early departure from the battlefield. Uchiha Itachi—the one who destroyed his family—was the most despised figure in Kiyo's mind.

No matter the reasons, betraying and annihilating his own clan was unforgivable.

Kiyo's memories of the massacre, his brothers and sisters falling to the ground, and the heartless actions of Uchiha Itachi, Obito, and the Root ninja team flooded his mind. His blood boiled.

Uchiha Kiyo's emotions surged as he reached the outskirts of Konoha, his face darkened with fury.

Upon entering the village, he used transformation techniques to alter his appearance and activate his breath techniques to conceal his chakra signature. After registering under the name Yun, he entered Konoha without resistance.

Though he wasn't stopped, Konoha's surveillance system took note of the newcomer, recording his appearance for future reference.

Konoha, while not outright hostile, marked him in their records. In case something went wrong, the village could trace this individual's movements. This wasn't an issue for Uchiha Kiyo. He wasn't concerned with their tracking system.

As he wandered through the village, Kiyo was struck by a sense of nostalgia and anger. The Konoha he saw was different from the one he had known. The Uchiha clan's territory had been moved from the heart of the village to a remote area, replaced with shops and other buildings.

"It's a shame the Uchiha clan was destroyed," Kiyo muttered, standing in the middle of what used to be their land.

The more he thought about it, the more infuriating it became. A proud clan, wiped out due to the whims of a few key figures. The establishment of the village had promised equality, but the Uchiha clan had never seen their Hokage dreams realized. The village, over time, had become corrupted, deviating from the original vision.

The Uchiha clan had never even been allowed to fulfill their promises. Konoha had failed them in so many ways.

Despite the passage of time, the Uchiha lands had never been rebuilt. It was as if Konoha had abandoned it on purpose—an eternal reminder of the betrayal.

Standing amidst the ruins, Kiyo clenched his fists. "Konoha, you owe the Uchiha too much."

The memories of his family—their tragic fate—drove Kiyo's resolve. "This time, things will be different. The Uchiha won't die in vain. I will make sure of that."

His left eye swirled with the kaleidoscope's power, and a wave of pain shot through him as he recalled the night of the massacre. His vision blurred as his mind replayed the horrific scenes of that fateful night.

His anger, his desire for vengeance, was overwhelming.

With a quiet hum, he closed his left eye, the blood-streaked face a reminder of the weight his power carried.

The eye's burden was significant, but the strength it offered was undeniable.

The scene from the past was now ingrained in his mind. Konoha would pay—his vengeance was only just beginning.
