Chapter 1 - Chp-1-Reincarnation?

Darkness.

Not the kind you get by shutting your eyes, but a deep, endless void. Cold, silent, and absolute. It was the kind of darkness that makes you question if you exist at all.

What the hell is going on...?

The last thing I remember—vividly—was being on a plane, heading home after years of study abroad. The turbulence started out mild, then quickly spiraled into chaos. Screams filled the cabin. My seat shook like a toy. And then, there was light—blinding light—and a sharp explosion.

Then, nothing.

Until now.

Strangely, my thoughts feel clear, too clear for someone who's supposed to be… well, dead.

Suddenly, I feel warmth.

A soft, almost syrupy warmth flows into me—into my throat, my stomach. It's not unpleasant. Actually, it's calming.

Do I have a body?

I try to move. Something shifts. Small arms. Smaller fingers.

What… am I?

The darkness begins to recede. A blinding light stabs at my vision, forcing me to shut my eyes again. Slowly, I try again—just a peek.

And then I see her.

A woman, no—a vision.

Silver hair that glows under the light, cascading like starlight. Eyes like the deepest shade of violet, filled with more warmth than I've ever known. Her skin glowed, smooth and untouched by time. She looked like she belonged in a legend or an oil painting—regal, flawless, ethereal.

And somehow… she's looking at me.

"%#!&," she said in a soft, melodic voice. Words I didn't understand, but the tone… the tone was pure love.

Then she held me close. Unclothed part of her robe. Brought me to her chest.

...Oh.

OH.

WHAT THE FUCK.

A wave of panic hit me like a truck—and just as quickly, faded. Because, despite the chaos in my brain, my body knew what to do.

And I gave in.

Well, I'm a baby now. Can't argue with biology.

So, I've been reincarnated.

In the kingdom of sol'seraphis

A looming obsidian castle stood beneath an eternal moonlit sky. The land outside was dark and misty, a kingdom drenched in twilight—but inside, warmth lived.

In one such chamber of the castle, light danced across velvet curtains and ivory walls. On a grand bed, carved from nightwood and silver, sat a breathtaking woman with a newborn in her arms.

She stared down at her baby with awe, as if the world had stopped spinning.

"Congratulations, Lady Mayvelin!" a maid bowed with a bright smile.

"Mother! Can I hold my baby brother now?" came a voice from the door.

Another woman—young, striking, and nearly identical to the mother. She had the same shimmering silver hair, the same radiant ocean blue eyes. Except she looked about twenty—full of life and curiosity.

"Not just yet, Milim," the mother replied, her voice gentle. "He's still adjusting. Soon, alright?"

"Aww... fine."Milim pouted and folded her arms.

The mother chuckled. "Go get some rest. He and I need a bit more time together."

Reluctantly, the young woman nodded and left, followed by the maid.

The room quieted again.

The mother looked down, her eyes soft. "My little star... you're so quiet. But you're here. You're safe. That's all that matters."

I blinked up at her again, golden light reflected in her eyes.

She smiled and pulled me closer, wrapping her robe snug around me.

A Few Days Later...

"Mother! Now can I hold him?" Milim returned, barely able to hold back her excitement.

The mother gave her an approving nod. "Be careful."

Milim leaned down, arms outstretched, and lifted me gently into her grasp.

Huh...?

Wait. This isn't the same person. The warmth is different. The body's smaller. Her... her boobs are gone!

Panic! Again!

I start wailing, despite myself.

"Ah! He's crying!" Milim shouted.

The mother swooped in and took me back. The moment I felt her warmth again, I calmed down like magic.

"I told you. He probably didn't recognize you yet," the mother said with a laugh.

"Hmph! You just didn't want to let go of him," Milim teased.

The mother smiled slyly. "Oh no, you caught me."

She patted the bed and Milim joined her, both now staring at me with shining eyes.

"He's so cute. He really does look like you, Mother."

"And like you," the mother replied, tucking a silver strand behind her daughter's ear.

A comfortable silence followed.

Then, the mother looked down at me and said softly, "His name... I've chosen it."

Milim's eyes sparkled. "Tell me!"

"Melicas.Melicas Nova," she said with pride. "My moon-kissed boy."

Thus began my new life.

Reborn as Mellicas Nova in the twilight-kissed kingdom of Sol'seraphis. Surrounded by beauty, mystery, and a family that, for now, seemed far too perfect to be real.

I don't know what this world holds, but one thing's for sure—

Dying might've been the best thing that ever happened to me.
