Svan was walking around the house with Sarena. He and Misaki decided to go separate ways, so they could look for clues and think of a way to find the holder.
'That will be a real headache..How on earth am I supposed to guess the holder among all these people.',,Svan thought rubbing his forehead with his hand, Everything around him felt weird, even though, the expression on his face was calm.
"I wonder what Misaki and Ireska are doing right now..."he mumbled.
"Hey..Svan, are you alright? ",Sarena said showing concern to the man who was sweating alot beside her
"O,,oh don't worry Sarena don't trouble yourself!, iam just thinking of a way to expose the holder. " a simple smile was drawn on his face
"No. There's definitely something in your mind, Are you worried about Misaki and Ireska? Iam sure they will be fine! "Sarena said trying ro cheer Svan up.
His gaze softened,"I hope that too. "
Their conversation came to an end with a third voice echoing throught the hall, "HEY you two! Stop!! "
A young blond man came to them, he had brown eyes, pale skin, his namecard had "Main" written on it. Morever, he was wearing some type of gloves. He was breathing harshly from the running, "h,,huhh,,h..i-"
Svan immediately covered his mouth, "Take your breath first! breathe from your nose! "
Jeez what's wrong with him?!
Sarena looked slightly unsettled from how suspicious this man seemed, why would anyone come running to them?
After some time Svan withdrawed his hand allowing this man to talk, "woo.. sorry if I startled you! You are the man who came with the idea on how to find the holder right? You look quite smart,,so I wanna ask if you can cooperate with me! "
He really just went straight to the point..
" and you are..?" Svan asked
"Oh right-! Iam Edlin and the person next to me is my assistant Aya ! "
"O..ok? Well iam- wait what?! "Svan immediately looked beside Edlin, he saw a shorter ginger male, he had cold gray eyes, and his namecard had "Assistant" written on it.
Svan was startled, "was that boy always here?!how come I didn't notice..?"
"Maybe we were too focused on Edlin that we didn't notice him. "Sarena replied,
"..yeah that makes and doesn't make sense at the same time . " Svan whispered
Edlin who was playing with his fingers showing complete disinterest in their little conversation, he opened his mouth, "Well Mr.smart ascender or whatever crazy thing we are, you still didn't tell me the name of yours or of your little assistant !"
Edling huffed, "I don't think we should be talking about my assistant. "
Svan snapped out of it, he looked at them weirdly for a brief seconds before deciding to speak again, "o..oh my apologies, my name is Svan Alecsandr. My assistant's name is Sarena Ivanov, Happy now?" He put his palm in his forehead tiredly.
Edlin responded with a pleased nod. However, Aya looked indifferent about this whole conversation,
Edlin was about to say something when he felt a sudden punch on his arm, "o OW OW AYA what are you doing?! yo-"
"Have you forgotten the proposal?! "Aya scolded him.
Edlin,"what propos-ah- ok ok I remember now!"
Aya sighed at his response.
Sarena and Svan were dumbfounded, these two didn't seem to get along with eachother and the atmosphere was eerie and non-settling,
Svan took the initiative to talk forcing a simple smile, "Sorry to interrupt, but if my intuition is right was the cooperation thing you mentioned when you saw us perhaps your..proposal?"
Edlin paused for a second, "Oh so I DID mention it and that dumb assistant said I forgot Haha-ah OUCH"
Edlin sarcastic laugh was stopped by a sudden kick in his leg,
"Ow-Aya! can you learn how to take a joke?!" Edlin said holding his leg,
"I can take a joke but not YOUR stupid jokes!" Aya said crossing his arms.
Edlin huffed ignoring Aya's critizem, " Ok so Svan! It will be a pleasure to work with you temporary until we find that holder or something. " he aggressively shook Svan's hand.
"Ok-Wait when did I say I would actually cooperate with you, i Don't even know your motiv-"
Svan didn't even get to finish his sentence as he saw Edling running away grabbing Aya as he screamed something , " It's decided! After half an hour come meet us at the room no.23! Ask around if you don't know where it is. "
And with that..Edlin and Aya disappeared.
Svan,"..."
Sarena,"..."
..
..
"Well,, that was weird. "Sarena said breaking the silence.
"Yes, it was..like VERY weird. " Svan kneeled to the ground, and seemed to be trying to recall what just happened, "so what do you say, Sarena? Do we follow along ? Actually I think that it's a bad idea, the whole thing is just..suspicious. "
Svan had an extremely bad feeling about this, something was definitely wrong
Sarena circled around Svan, "Well, I also think it's suspicious, but I don't see why not give it a try? There will be a lot of Ascenders, I don't think that he will try to pull anything suspicious. "
"Sarena not gonna lie he looks like he WILL pull something suspicious. "

Sarena couldn't defend that. However, she continued, " Well beside that,, that can make us able to identify the holder! Or at least have a clue, since him mentioning that room specifically means that there is definitely something in it! It's a risk, but if we found something it will be worth it!"
Svan thought about it for a brief second then got up from the ground, "..ok..However, don't leave my side. " he patted her head, " you are right, if there is a clue and we didn't take the chance we would regret it later, but if it meant getting hurt in the process nothing matters! Safety comes first. "
"Don't worry, iam sure it will go well. " Sarena reassured him playfully
Svan smiled at that response, "Well then, let's go! "
