As a Higher Vampire, Idan needed a huge amount of blood energy to transform an ordinary Platinum-ranked beast into an ordinary vampire.
Apart from the first beast, he was only able to turn four others into full—fledged vampires, and the remaining fifteen into half-vampires.
All the blood he had collected in the last two and a half hours had been used up, and Idan was in a difficult position.
"I need more blood," he whispered, looking at the twenty beasts he had formed a blood bond with. It was an unusual feeling. He could feel the echoes of emotion, loyalty, and bloodlust.
Now, none of them felt fear of him, but showed respect and loyalty. This was especially true of the five beasts that had become vampire beasts.
The eyes of all the beasts shone with a scarlet light, just like Idan's own, and scarlet mists of blood swirled around the bodies of the five vampire beasts.
